I bought this as a gift and frowned at buying another IPAD. This one was worth the money. I has enough memory, is lighter and fast. I happy about it.

I bought this for my mother, she is 77 and she loves it. It is easy to learn, has great battery life, and a great camera, a long with awesome graphics.

I got this as Christmas gift for our 10 yr old daughter, she could not be happier, we have android tablet too, advantage of i-pad is that it has access to some apps that android tablet doesn't. So far she likes it and uses it a lot,- its light, fast and beautiful screen resolution, so happy with the purchase!

this device is absolutely stunning. it's fast and reliable to do daily work. I love that I can carry it around without the weight or size being an issue.

I have owned several different tablets from several different manufacturers, running various operating systems. The Apple iPad is still the best. It has the most apps, the most games, the most premium feeling/looking hardware, and the smoothest OS. Even though it is well over a year old, the original iPad Air (the product reviewed) is still a great choice. I picked it up for $350 (vs the Air 2 @ $499), and have not regretted my decision. I honestly would highly recommend picking up the original Air, and enjoying the savings over the Air 2. You can't go wrong!

Would highly recommend the iPad Air. Purchased an iPad 4th Gen for my daughter and always found it be a superior product. I just switched from using consecutive Amazon Kindle Fire (original, then the 8.9" Fire HD) tablets. As much as I liked the Kindle Fire I became increasingly frustrated with the Silk browser and even the Dolphin browser which consistently crashed. I have had zero issues with the iPad Air. Huge number of available Apps, seamless and flawless web browsing. The iPad Air is also extremely lightweight, excellent battery life and stunning screen resolution.

we have four iPads in our house. This is the newest one. There is a definite improvement over the previous versions. It's faster, screen is crisper.

For a tablet this one rocks lighter, thinner, quicker...gotta love it !

I had a Samsung but it had to much info for my needs therefore I upgraded to the iPad. The pad meets all my needs and I love it. I totally recommend it to all my senior friends. Easy to use and price is perfect.

Really light and easy to use, my husband loves to catch up on his Netflix shows on it. He reads his newspapers on it in the morning he is loving it!

i have thoroughly enjoyed this purchase. I highly recommend this items to anyone that enjoys surfing with just a click. It is fast, and I mean so quick and easy to navigate. I also enjoy the fact that it is so light and bright. The battery is long lasting as well. Please remember to purchase a sturdy protective cover so that you can can have many years of enjoyment! I love it!

The big disappoint for me. No finger print scanner. I have the iPad 4, biggest improvement, lighter weight. That being said, if you have the iPad 4, I would not rush, to buy this. The camera is a bit better. Sound quality about the same, maybe even a little worse. Battery life, seems about the same, as iPad 4. Also, it does not have,slow motion on camera recording, like the iPhone 5s. The accessories, when you slide up, to use these did not include flashlight function, or calculator? I know it can be added, with software update, but why not have it, like the iPhone 5s? Not included is the earbuds? Fit and finish, is very nice,as with most all, Apple products. I know it is not a phone, but why not have a phone dialer? If you have cellular function you paid extra for? Can you imagine a phone wit retina display this size. I know,sure you can do FaceTime!

My new iPad is lighter and faster. It downloads faster. Great for games. The images seem clearer and brighter. I really enjoy using my new iPad.

The new iPad Air is extremely user friendly--high-def screen very easy on the eyes. Excellent camera feature. Great wi-fi capabilities. Much slimmer than the previous version we owned. Quick-read for any scanning needs. all-around top-notch item.

I had both the iPad 1 and 2. I traded the iPad 2 in for the predecessor to the iPad Air. I did not notice any dramatic improvement or benefit over the iPad2 and returned it. The iPad Air is vastly improved over previous models. It is light weight, the display is brilliant, and the battery life exceptional. Great product for the price. Would recommend and purchase as a gift.

Upgraded from first generation iPad and this one is great. Faster, thinner and much lighter and can do almost anything you want a tablet to do.

This is my second iPad, the first one was stolen. I like this iPad because it's so not heavy. I guess that why they call it air. Easy to use.

This will be great to take along when I travel. So much lighter and faster than my first generation iPad. And the retina screen is amazing! Everything on the screen is do clear and sharp. I even talked a couple of my friends into buying one. They were hesitant until they saw how sharp the screen looked and how great it functioned. A 'thumbs up' purchase for this product.

This iPad is so fast. Everything is a breeze. I cannot believe how light it is. It's no surprise. Apple products are gear! Always satisfied.
