Faster with sharper screen display but otherwise a similar model

Excellent product wither eat features and screen resolution.

Let me start by saying if you don't have an iPad you should have one! I believe it is one of the most important pieces of technology after the cell phone to own!!! I have an I pad 4 w/ retina display and I love it! I thought I was sure to fall in love with the iPad Air. So I waited for the Black Friday sale and got it at a great price. This is what I can say it didn't feel that much different from my I pad 4. I mean yes it is faster but I'm not that in a hurry to sacrifice the quality of the overall material and feel. At the highest volume the sound is lower than the iPad 4 and the color of the the brightness is not as bright or maybe it's just a different kind of light. The screen when I tap it feels and sound like I am tapping on plexiglass. I guess when you want to reduce material and weight you have to sacrifice in some area. Other wise this was great! while I had it it ran very fast and as all Apple products supper easy to use ! If you do not have an iPad I must say that you are missing out . I personally can't ever imagine living with out one!

OVERALL, , I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT'S MY FIRST IPAD BUT IT SEEMS TO BE USER FRIENDLY AND PRETTY QUICK. I DON'T THINK IT STAYS CHARGED AS LONG AS IT SHOULD BUT ALL IN ALL HAPPY WITH MY CHOICE.

I am still learning about my I PAD and how to operate it. I just got a book from the library to help me with more of the features. I took it on vacation and it helpedt with requesting seats on the plane. I got to check on some banking problems. I had fun taking some pictures and sending them home. It was something to play with during the flight. The airlines offered a movie but I did not use the I PAD for that. I look forward to learning how to make more use of it.
