Upgraded from the original iPad 1. This is quite literally the best money I've spent on new technology. Incredibly fast, and very slim and sleek, this thing goes with me everywhere!

I purchased this Apple Ipad for my 73 year old mother. It is her first experience using a tablet and it is easy for her to navigate and it has a great quality picture and camera!!!!

I love this tablet. I use it every day. Its light weight, takes good pictures, runs great. I use it for everything and always have it with me. Its an excellent table.

I've owned just about every iteration of the iPad, and this one is hands down the best physical design of the iPad to date. Its super fast, multitasks well, opens apps fast, games look and perform great on it - its just that good from an functional standpoint. The retina screen is gorgeous - photos and games just look stunning. It has great contrast, vibrant colors, and reproduces details and clarity with no problems. I bought the iPad Air as a internet surfing device and as a time killing game machine, and for that it functions flawlessly. I cant say how it performs from a professional environment, but with what I've gathered from my time using it - it should be able to handle all that stuff with no problems. I've continuously been impressed with the battery life on all iPads, and the Air is no exception - I can easily go a week without charging it with daily use - and even longer if I don't use it that much during the evenings. And thats will Chromecasting Hulu Plus and Netflix, as well as some intensive gaming from time to time. I'm still not a huge fan of iOS7 - the folders make devices feel slow, and the translucency of many of the elements to me draws a very feminine feel throughout the OS - but thats just my opinion. The iPad Air easily handles all that iOS7 throws at it with nary a glitch or hiccup. If you can afford it (price is my only negative comment) you will certainly be happy with the iPad Air. These are of course my opinions, so you might read around and see what other people have to say, but this is the best tablet on the market.

The iPad air is great! Lightweight, simple to use, clear picture and tons of great apps to simplify your life. I highly recommend to new and old tablet users alike.

I've owned a iPad 2 and iPad 3 before getting this iPad Air. I was hesitate at first about getting this iPad as my iPad 3 was working pretty well. I had been noticing slower performance and that is what made me make the leap. I don't regret that leap at all. This new iPad Air is blazing fast and handles anything I throw at it. The screen is gorgeous and handles presenting my photography very well. The thing that most impresses me about this iPad Air though is the battery life. For most of the tasks I do this thing will last forever. I will get home in the evenings from working with it all day and the iPad will still about 50% battery life left. For awhile there I wondered if it was even possible to run it completely down as I was using internet, watching videos, etc... Well I found if you start playing a visually powerful game for a few hours it will make a pretty good chunk out. So it's not invincible, but it is pretty awesome compared to previous iPads. My only two complaints is Cost and Fingerprints. Cost is pretty self explanatory, as much of an Apple Fanboy that I am, they price their stuff pretty high. But you pay for quality. Fingerprints on the other hand is a pretty big issue. This thing gets dirty quick, maybe I just have greasy fingers. But I would expect it to repel the attraction better than it does. But if you keep a microfiber cloth close by you can knock them out pretty quick. Overall I'm ecstatic with this new iPad Air. I would purchase again if I could do it all over again.

Lighter, smaller and faster. Love iPads! Only real difference from air 2 is the camera specs and fingerprint Idensity. The processor is plenty fast.

Had the ipad2 for almost 2 years, worked perfectly. Wanted to upgrade to the newest version and keep this one for at least 2 years. So much lighter, thinner and faster.....and the Retina display is amazing! Much improved vs our ipad2. We really enjoy it. It gets used daily and battery life has been great.

If you are reading this you already have an idea of the benefits of the Ipad. The question becomes why the Air over the Air 2 and really the biggest difference is the cost. The 2 is slightly thinner and lighter and a bit faster that is the biggest difference. If you aren't playing or using apps that require a lot of processing then the Air may be for you.

I have an IPad 4 for the last 2 years that I use almost every day. This version is lighter, faster, and has a better display. Nice job Apple

I've gone from an iPad 2 to a Surface and now back to iPad. I dislike the locked OS, but it just works and the apps are what makes it really stand out. The Air is plenty fast for me. I didn't see the need to spend a bunch more for an Air 2 just to get a fingerprint reader and some Ram which makes a marginal difference in real world usage. In my opinion, 32 gigs is a minimum people should get in an iPad.

I purchased the IPAD to use while on vacation. I loved the size and ease of use in traveling. I also purchased the keyboard which not only protected my IPAD but also made it very easy for me to research restaurants and points of interest during our vacation. I really don't know what I would have done without the IPAD... its so much better than having to use my phone. I am so happy with my purchase.

This is my 3rd iPad. I previously owned the original and the 3rd generation iPad. The iPad Air is the best one so far. Much thinner and lighter with excellent battery life. With iWorks, eBook readers, internet access, iCloud, and all of the multimedia capabilities of the iPad, I no longer have to carry a laptop PC when I'm on vacation. The only limitation of the iPad is that it doesn't have removable media, so if you need to store lots of videos/movies on the iPad, I would invest in at least the 32GB model.

This is my second I-pad, and I had trouble giving up my original one..I get so attached to certain devices. But, I was looking for an I-pad with even more memory and speed, and this one fits the bill. As with all Apple products, this is a great buy for someone who is "visually-obsessed",the icons just make complete sense to me. This is My must have item when I travel, and I do appreciate how lightweight it is. I hope this new purchase is just as sturdy and long lasting as my original one.

I upgraded from my first gen iPad. This is faster, smaller, lighter, and sharper.

I waited a long time for this IPad because of the price but it was well with the wait. I have tried numerous cheaper tablets and tried to convince myself they were just as good, but it was not true. I sold all my other tablets including the nexus 7 to buy the iPad air and iPad mini retina. I love both and use them for everything. Step up is super easy especially if you already own an iPad, you don't even need a computer you just restore from an icloud back up and an hour later everything is exactly the same as your last iPad. I upgraded from the 16gb iPad 3 and it is a world of difference, so much faster and lighter it is perfect at everything and anything you can throw at it. I would definitely recommend the 32gb or even the 64 if price is not an issue. You will want to add a lot of apps and music and photos once you own it, I got the 32 mainly because I like taking photos. Love this product.

I take my Ipad with me most times and the size and weight is perfect. Speed is great and the camera is better than before!

High quality picture and fast. Videos and pics are very clear. It is also very light compared to my wife's original iPad.
