Just upgraded from ipad 1 to the ipad air, the difference is truly worth the money. The entire process of moving from ipad 1 to ipad air was seamless. Backup up ipad 1, trade ipad 1 to best buy, purchase new ipad air from best buy, restore files from backup. The whole process was easy.

This is a great unit and is a good upgrade from a IPad 2

I am a medical student and have completely ditched paper of any kind by using my iPad as my textbooks, my notebook, my study aid, you name it. For the price of 1-2 medical textbooks I got this instead and have electronic copies loaded onto it. I can annotate right onto them, I can take and annotate class notes in notebooks in the iPad or on professors' lecture slides. There are amazing educational apps I used earlier in my medical school experience to be able to visualize the 3D human body at various levels and all this with intuitive gestures and touch controls. The uses for this device is only limited by the expanse of the Appstore which is not very small at all I assure you. Paired with a adonit jot pro stylus or anything similar, this is a student's powerhouse device. Even the bluetooth is easy to setup for use with a wireless keyboard if typing is your way of notetaking. I even have very fun and involving games for my down time installed on my iPad.

We upgraded from a iPad first generation. This is much lighter, faster, and the screen resolution is much better. It is also nice to have a camera.

I love this ipad. I let my son use it and he has drop it few times and hasn't shatter yet!

This Ipad was purchased to replace an older one that kept crashing. I was able to transfer all of my older information into the new system and access all of my items without any problems. The clarity of the screen is amazing and the camera takes better pictures than my actual camera.

Debates about a second iPad but with two kids in school, bit the bullet and so glad we did!

Games, email, surfing the net ... I love mine. I work on the road a lot and this minimizes the amount of time that I need to use my laptop for general tasks. I liked it so much I got my wife one a few months later!

There is a great deal to remember for a first timer. However, taking time to ask questions and trying to put the answers to work if just a great deal of enjoyment. I'm not a bit regretful that we made the purchase !

I use it to control my monitor mix on stage also for Itunes. The wireless aspect is great!

Bought as a christmas present for my wife who is new to using a tablet. Relying on help from other users and taking apple classes, she is still learning how to use its features. Facetime is awesome and crystal clear. Commands execute very quickly and she enjoys using this device.

We bought this iPad for our family as a Christmas present. We love it. The kids can use get different apps for learning and my wife and I can use it for all of our needs too. 32gb is sufficient storage for our needs and we like that we can sync it with our iPhones as well.
