    This is a great upgrade from my iPad 2. Having the retsina display makes reading textbooks and pdfs easier and more enjoyable. The overall zippiness of the whole OS is where Apple's software to hardware integration has the upper hand over other tablets. I just wish Microsoft Office was available for iOS like it is on the Surface. Oh well.

    Got this for my wife to replace a smaller black and white Kindle. Big screen and color. Just what she wanted. Only four stars because iPad air 2 came out about two months later.

    I bought it for my husband as a beginnings tablet for his music studio. It was a great tablet, but Apple upgraded the software he uses and it was no longer compatible with the iPad. WE had to buy him a new version.
