I have a Galaxy tab 3 and an old iPad 2. Both brands are terrific and each system has benefits. Got this for my husband because he has an iPhone but he finds it hard to type on so I thought this would be easier. Got the mini 2 as Black Friday deal. Screen is great and devise was easy to set up. Only negatives are how light some of the type is and hard to see x to close page. We don't game so can't say I find processor to be that much faster. At regular price it is over-priced but at $224 it wasn't too bad.

Not a big fan of Apple products but needed an iPad for testing new wireless product for work. First Apple product I have owned so there was a bit of learning curve which wasn't bad. Setting up my gmail & Comcast email account was easy but confusing to setup reading pane. Help is not very helpful. Limited utilities compared to what is available for free with Andrid. Screen is gorgeous though especially when watching Dish and playing games. Not bad for the price since I had $50 gift card to use toward it.

Of course there is a better, newer version, but this one has served my daughter very well. It's small enough to bring on family trips and big enough to have a nice screen. Battery seems to have a decent life as well.

Huge difference than the original iPad. The retina display is awesome! Love the size and weight and very easy to navigate. Apple hits a home run once again! A must buy at Best Buy!

I luv this thing. Smaller and lighter than regular iPAd but just right size. Great display and long battery life. Fast processor. Just buy one. Don't go for second rate copycats

I bought this tablet to use while I was working out on the treadmill. It's perfect for streaming music and videos. It's also perfect for reading. I find the size of this device to be perfect so that I can read, search the web, etc... all in one had. It's also very portable.

Love the smaller size of the tablet as it makes it easier to hold when reading. Downloaded the Kindle app and was reading a library ebook within minutes. Free Office software allows me to view excel sheets on the go and tablet fits easily into a small bag for portability.

I just love my iPad mini! It's a great size...screen is much bigger than my iPhone, but product is still lightweight and small enough to fit in a medium to large purse and take anywhere. I also bought one for my 10 year old daughter and she uses it pretty much everyday.

This was my first apple product and absolutely loved it. The performance is awesome and the touch is out of this world. I would recommend this if you want to day to day work (leisure), in something handy. Its extremely light and has a adequate size for Personnal use.

My first Ipad and I went with a mini Retina because the regular Ipads seem too big to me. Awesome display and battery life. Also recharges quickly. Look forward to when Apple can shave a little weight off this tablet, because lighter would be better. Still, gotta love it.

Love the ipad mini retina! Being an owner of many apple products, I had a hard time figuring out which tablet device was best suited for my needs. After settling on the mini with retina, I can't be any happier. I use the tablet as a portable device for work to have something a bit beyond my smartphone available, but when I don't want to bring all my laptop equipment with me all the time. The size is great, and screen is sharp. The keyboard takes a bit of getting used to as it's smaller than the normal size keyboard, but so long as you don't plan on using the screen-keyboard for intensive writing, everything else is amazing!

This is the best Apple tablet for the money. It's better than the iPad mini in statistics and just as good as the iPad mini 3, without having to shell out the extra money. It's just the right size to take anywhere for playing games, doing business, or watching a movie.

I admit that I didn't think I was cool enough for anything "Apple" related but this is so cool, and it's helping me to become a cooler mom by association; it is so easy to use when compared to my old Android tablet...it's small and perfect for everything that I needed!

Great tablet has same specs as the mini 3 only thing missing is Touch ID. The mini 3 comes in gold and has more memory options but if you compare the 16 gb versions of the 2 and 3 the Touch ID is only difference for a $150 less. The latest isn't always the greatest.

I had the original iPad model and love the improvements made in the smaller size, lighter weight, faster processor, retina display. Original did not have a camera either.

I've had a regular size iPad for years but decided to change to the mini and glad I did as it's much easier to hold and surf. Speed is great and is everything I wanted. Very satisfied. Apple rules !

Such an awesome tablet. What I like about the iPad versus other tablets is that it's very easy to operate and I've never had any issues with it slowing down. There aren't a bunch of unnecessary applications on it like other tablets. Love this thing.

Bought this for my 14 yr old son who loves it. Takes it everywhere and pretty much does anything he could do in a laptop with it. Definitely got my money's worth out of this one. Would highly recommend a sturdy case and screen protector for it though.

I love being able to sit on the couch and surf for recipes and shop. Extremely portable and great battery life! Original had an Apple I-pad cover which was cumbersome and expense - returned and purchased another brand which is great and cost a lot less!

I recently purchased 4 iPad mini 2's; 1 for my wife, 1 for me and 1 each for my two boys. It was a big purchase and anted to get the most bang for my buck. We each have different interests and sues for the devices. My wife and I use it for work and personal purposes and my kids use it for school and gaming. We each purchased the 16GB, wi-fi only models and they have definitely met our needs. The storeage space is sufficient even after upgrading to the most recent version of iOS. The iPads are very portable and can be easily carried and stored. I highly recommend this product for families on the go who don't want to spend the extra money on an iPad with retina display.
