The Apple iPad Mini is popular enough now that everyone knows why it's so great. It's a lightweight, diverse utility. I'll just highlight some of the new improvements and what I love about the iPad Mini with Retina over the previous gen iPad Mini. The only notable difference between the ipad mini 2 and ipad mini 3 is the finger print sensor. Pros: + Free iWork suite with new iDevices! Free Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Just download them in the App Store. + Gorgeous retina screen aids in reading text. I'm a medical student and I read a lot of books and articles on my iPad mini. My eyes don't have to strain as much because the text is rich and crisp. ++ Fits in a coat pocket! Big bonus as it can easily carried around + Incredibly thin and lightweight with a beautiful design. Nothing else on the market really compares to the aesthetics of Apple products, in my opinion. + Apple's App Store- no other online market comes close to the App Store. The selection in variety and premium content is bar none + iCloud - Building an Apple environment works flawless with the iPad Mini. My iCal syncs nicely, my contacts are added, iMessages auto-updates. All of my daily routine stuff is imported directly onto my iPad using iCloud services

I was actually looking for a low cost video camera that I could take around when traveling, but then thought that I could get what I wanted from an iPad tablet (and with a larger viewfinder). Add the high resolution camera for still photos, and the wide variety of iOS apps for image editing, I can capture memories from my trips in a nice, compact package.

This iPad is basically the exact same thing as the iPad Air but shrunk down to a more portable size. Now with the iPad mini 3 adding nothing but Touch ID, this is hands down the best value iPad available. If you're u are looking for the most portable iPad option, look no further.

I have iPad 2 for 3 years, now added mini 2. Choice was either mini 3 or 2, but I firmly believe my decision was not wrong. It's better than iPad 2 in its performance and much more convenient to bring it to outside. Qhen I got iPad 2, I was so happy with its weight and size, but with iPad mini 2 now, iPad 2 tends to be staying on my desk longer...

I have been an Android user for years. I bought an iPad because it was recommended to operate a a drone that I purchased. Best decision I made. The operation of the iPad Mini is easy to learn. The screen is easy to see in bright sunlight and "Facetime" is a great app. The iPad fits nice in your hand and is easy to set up and personalize.

I work for a mobile development company and needed an Apple device for testing. The iPad Mini 2 hits a good price/usability point: 64-bits for running both 64- and 32-bit apps, the ability to run iPhone and iPad apps, and a relatively decent price. I'm not a huge fan of iOS in general, but the device is well made and serves its purpose well.

I have owned an ipad 1 and ipad 2 prior to owning the mini, I found myself using the ipad mini much more simply because it was smaller, lighter and easier to handle. It's size makes it much more mobile and and enjoyable for extended periods of time. I'd recommend it to anyone, casual, gamer, or power user alike. It really is a great product.

This version of the iPad fits my needs perfectly. Great size, great image, the battery lasts a long time. I primarily use it for reading. Definitely not worth the extra expense of the latest version. Also, I purchased it in the store with a price match; customer service was very helpful and prompt even during the rush of the holiday season.

The 16Gb is enough for plenty of books and music and if you do not go full HD it should hold a few movies. I do not take many pictures with it and transfer the ones I take. If you take many pictures and video the 16 gig may fill up fast. Very satisfied with the purchase. Easy to carry every where and/or just throw in a small backpack.

Easy to use and so handy. Took it on a trip and was able to use GPS maps without wifi, because we found the area we needed ahead of the trip. Long battery life was also great. Also love the zoom feature and the ability to make text BOLD and larger for our older eyes.

I am a fan of Apple, even as gifts I only would give Apple products. Getting this iPad2 at a great price, and it being a great quality and great product, it is simply GREAT. The BestBuy service was like always, professional and helpful, and the the price matching was no problem. Most importantly this is an awesome gift for anybody.

We bought this for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she loves it. Very use friendly and the size was perfect for her. She doesn't need a lot of memory, so the 8GB works just fine for her. I'm thinking about getting another as a supplement to the full size 128GB that I have at home and is always being used by someone else.

Finally bought an i-Pad Mini after much debate and research. I thought it would be smarter and cheaper to go with a purchase from one of the shopping channels. They always seem to have such appealing offers. Read the reviews on two of those sites and then here on BB. I looked at both the Apple product and similar devices from other brands. The reviews here were unanimously favorable for the i-Pad and because we'd had good luck in the past with our purchases from Best Buy and the pricing was competitive, that made the final decision. I couldn't be happier with this product: it has so many features, is highly portable, and the screen clarity makes viewing so easy for these mature eyes. I read on the i-Pad more than on my Kindle! I am really using this constantly in place of my laptop, wish I'd made this purchase sooner. Do your research and you will see what I am talking about. And, when purchasing from Best Buy there is usually the opportunity for good financing options. I bought my case and screen protector separately, but the store does offer good value bundles for all of these items.

COuldn't be happier with this fella. Went to Targt and saw tthe iPad mini2 for 224 and they didnt have it anymore so we took the flyer to Best Buy and not only did they price match, they were awesome about it. The device itself is perfect. light, fast, and 16GB is plenty of space for what I need it for (school).

I brought this mini iPad for my dad who is not so tech savvy & doesn't know how to operate a computer. He was quickly able to adapt & grasp to it. 16gb can be a limiting factor but for dad who is primarily going to use for youtube, music, facetime it works great. Would recommend this product if 16gb is not issue
