The iPad mini is the perfect size! There isn't that much of a difference between the new iPad mini and the iPad mini 2 - so i opted for the cheaper one. I can say that the tablet exceeded my expectations. The apps load quickly - the tablet has not froze on me yet. Make sure to get a case for it!

This is a powerful device. Although smaller than the larger iPads, it has all the features. As a smaller device, it is easy to handle and carry. This is a perfect gift for anyone, especially grandchildren with inquisitive minds and imaginations. The most important feature is ease of operation.

Trying to get my Elderly Mom into using Facebook etc to keep up with us. Mini seems to fill the bill. Cheap and provides good user friendly access.

If you an apple person, then this is a great starter iPad for younger kids. My son just turned 9 and it's a good size for him to just grab and go.

My husband and I bought this ipad as a gift for my mom. She loves doing video chat with my family aboard and loves to play casino online. So for that purpose, we bought her ipad mini. It has very reasonable price. Best buy actually matched the lowest online price that we could find. It was the perfect size, perfect memory and capacity for my perfect mom. It also produces quality pictures. Very Good resolution. Lastly, the salesperson was very helpful and kind. he adjusted the price without questions. Over I am very satisfied with my purchase!

This ipad is so great that I upgraded to the highest capacity (128GB) after having initially purchased 32GB. Though it is $200 more it is a worthwhile investment as it probably will last several years. I plan to use it mostly for movies and browsing the net. The response is simply beautiful, it just reacts right away.

Best iPad in my book, hands down. Same resolution as the Air in a smaller form factor. What's not to like? The price, but you get what you pay for. Build quality is excellent and this tablet built to be your everyday, one stop shop, tablet that'll be around for a while. This is the iPad I always wanted and now have :)

I am very happy with my purchase. The set-up was easy. I was even able to link the sound to my Logitech bluetooth speaker without a problem.

Had a IPad 2 and this is so much better. It is faster and does not crash as much.
