I bought this for my son, I really didn't think it would do what he wanted it for, gaming, Skype, watching movies etc.... but it turned out to be a great buy.. I'm even thinking about one for myself.. I would definitely recommend this anyone.

The iPad is convenient for downloading and reading books and for playing games. It is fun and easy to use.

Upgraded from an old original Ipad. Love the smaller size. Same great functionality but easier transportability.

If you don't need the largest or fastest Ipad, this is a good alternative. Despite being 3 years old, it's still quite useful for those who just want to read books, browse the web or do email. Probably not the best if you want to play some of the newer games, but it is good for basic tasks. I would recommend the largest capacity tablet you can afford though, as 32GB will only give you about 28 GB of actual free space (as IOS takes up about 4GB).

Wanted a new tablet but was convinced I did not need the latest and greatest to watch movies and read books. Found this at he local Best Buy with a discount that covered the price of the case. Works well and is very fast on the Internet.

I really like My iPad Mini 2. I had the iPad 4, but decided I I wanted something a lil smaller. I use it for my alarm clock and reading by the bed. It is great for travel too. I bought a 3rd part smart case for it, which I like as well.

Tried many other Android devices, but now know why this is rated so well, and even though somewhat closed and limited; seems to do everything smoother and well. Will have to see if memory size becomes an issue with extended use. Pictures show up GREAT!

I wasn't sure if I'd ever use this, but I'm sure glad I got it. Even for an older model, it's a great productivity tool for when I'm just sitting around on the couch, and it has all the great Apple features we've all come to love.

My daughter is 4 and she had an ipaid air 2 and it was just too big for her - Ipad mini was perfect size

I love my IPAD MINI and most Apple products. Just wish they were not so expensive, considering you usually have to get a new one every few years. They become outdated, slow or full, which was the reason I bought a new IPAD MINI.

Bought this to use wth my DJI Phantom 4 drone. Works perfectly and works great as an everyday tablet.

love the size of this IPad. Its larger than my phone, but smaller than my laptop. Best of both worlds

Catch this iPad Mini 2 on sale, and you won't regret it. Fits in seamlessly with my Apple family of products. As long as Apple Pay and thumb recognition aren't deal breakers for you, you can't go wrong with this amazing device.

IPad mini 2 is a solid purchase. More cost effective than the 3 and only difference really is the lack of Touch ID

Bought this product for my grandson 2 yrs old. Great for learning ABCs and watching video movies and animated cartoons. A toy that cube comes a learning tool and more as they grow. Got the Otter Defender case to make sure it is kid proof and drop proof.

Apple makes best tablet hands down. Everything you need, screen is perfect, and very lightweight. I can fit it in my pocket, without having to go under 7"

Was much faster getting up and running than I had expected. Easy to use and very fast response. Still trying to figure out how to save documents in email to my photos. Users guide doesn't always outline those functions (do I need an app for that? Which one?). But I am really enjoying using it and continuing to learn.

Very happy with our purchase. Apple continues to provide a high quality product with great customer service. The ability to use all prior purchased apps from our iphones made this a no brainer.

I am totally satisfied with my Mini. I bought an amazon Fire & it was a disaster. There were few appa & they were not updated. The functionality e. E. Simply scrolling the screen was totally inadequate. If u push the screen, it just kept going.

A good compromise between screen size and size/weight. Very convenient to carry around. Excellent picture quality.
