The product itself is very nice! If it came with everything it was supposed to come with, you would have gotten 5 stars. Remember the charge cord next time.

Although it's a clear image, the screen doesn't get that bright which makes using it outside next to impossible. Nothing new or better about this iPad.

What really makes me mad is the very poor customer service at the mesquite TX location. If I ever want to be insulted, I know where to go.

There are a zillion reviews and all kinds of articles on the tech, tips, etc of these...I am simply going to do a 'consumer' review: I bought 2 of these (Ipad Mini2 32gb) as gifts for my wife and my college age daughter and although their uses differ, the Mini 2's really do meet both of their needs famously. I initially was looking for Kindles that could browse and had a camera (to be able to do pics, vids & skype) this meant HDX's. It was a short consideration when I realized the Mini2 is LESS money for a far more advanced all around tablet. It was a no-brainer, even before I added in all the seamless Iphone integration capabilities and conveniences. Setup and such was a breeze and they were both up n running in no time, with no assistance required from me or anyone else. After nearly 2 months of daily use they both still love their Mini's with no notable wants or complaints. Now...my one consumer gripe (and recommendation): I object to the fact that you basically HAVE to upgrade to the 32gb model as due to the OS size/requirements the base model 16gb essentially leaves zero room for normal use. Every expert warns so, and after looking through our Mini's, they are right-you would be seriously handcuffed right from the start with only 16gb. The 32gb is still a no-brainer over the Kindles, but I really do object to Apple offering an entry model Ipad Mini that is essentially 'at limit' before you even open the cellophane! EVERYBODY buying these will want some music, pictures, videos, etc and a new device should really afford such normal use. Bottom line: Great tablet, but most def take a serious look at the 32gb. The extra $40 or so could save you a bunch!

Ipad Mini2 is working as expected. Everthing looks great and keyboard is good. If you are ok with minimal sound, apple ipad is great

I love the size of the mini and how well it works with all the other apple products. It is perfect for travel, compact yet a really useful screen. I dictate emails to siri, and it's a fast and easy way to stay in touch.

    iPad Mini 2

I've had an original iPad for years but it has begun to crash constantly since it has limited memory so it was time to make an upgrade. I wanted another iPad but didn't want to spend the money so when I saw the sale on the iPad Mini 2 I grabbed it. Its nice and thin and much lighter than the larger iPad. The speed is excellent, and I haven't had any crashes. It does come with some pre loaded apps that I could do without and between that and the operating system you do lose a bit of available space to load music and apps. All and all though this was a great purchase.

Apple makes quality tablets, but I'm not a big fan of the OS. For it's price I don't think it's worth it.

This is my 3rd iPad and had recently sold my original iPad Mini. I chose to go with the iPad Mini 2 over the Mini 3 due to the fact it was $100 cheaper and the only difference was the Touch ID. I have used other devices, such as the Samsung 10" and Nexus 9 and while they had some great features, they still were buggy and tended to lag over time. The iPad is consistent and is a performer. The screen is incredible and it serves me exceptionally well. I can run Microsoft Office if I like, but I have dumped Office pretty much except for Excel. In my opinion, it is more functional that Android and Windows in that I can use Messages (iOS and Mac), Hangouts, Google Apps, Office, and yes Photoshop (this is in beta). I have moved to Pixelmator and tend to edit on my laptop. My main use is on the road and for mobile applications development, presentation, etc. I would recommend this device over anything else on the market. If you want a Mini-Mini, get the iPhone 6 Plus. If you are in the market for a great tablet, go for the Mini 2 or Air.
