I purchased this as a gift, assuming "certified refurbished" meant something and could be trusted. But I wanted more bang for the buck. I ended up having to purchase a new charger port and cord because what came with this was disheveled and disgusting. I assumed, for the price of refurbished, I would be receiving a product that looked new, just wasn't brand new. If you want to sell used items, market them as use and reduce the price.

I use my ipad for work all the time. I have an ipad 2. I upgraded to the iPhone 5s and loved it. I started ar looking updating my ipad also. I have a lap top at work but don't use it much. I looked into the ipad air and the Mac lap tops. Considering I am always on the run, small, light, and easy was what I was looking for. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the mini size. I like that I can hold it and type like I do with my cell phone. I couldn't do that with my ipad (the split screen was awkward to me). I can carry it around and listen to my music. Show customers great pictures of the products I sell. Easier to read books, replay to emails, and everything. Plus it's light. Doesn't take up much room. Love this soooooo much. The battery charges up so fast. My ipad 2 would take all night to charge. Not this. It's so small you can fit it almost anywhere. The screen is great and clear. Best thing I have ever bought. I have a crush I'm my mini. I never put this down. Lol :)

The iPad mini's 7 inch screen is, in my opinion, the perfect size for portability and production; it's not too big but it isn't to small like other 7 inch tablets out there. The high-res retina display is also a plus with its 2048 x 1536 resolution. This thing is quick and its powerhouse is hidden in a sleek and thin slate. This is a must get!

It has lines running vertically down the screen. Bought it as a xmas gift on 10/25, which Best Buy said was before the xmas return policy date. Therefore they will not return it. Just spent an hour on the phone, went back into BB had it restored and still waiting. Very disappointed with Best Buy. Not good customer service.

I purchased my iPad Mini 2 almost a year ago and am still absolutely in love with it. It is large enough to read on, light enough to hold for long periods of time, and small enough to fit in most purses. I use it for schoolwork, email, gaming, movies, reading, and online research, among other things. I would not be without it!

I bought the iPad mini 2 because it is the perfect screen size. Not too small like my iPhone or my iPod, but not too big like my iPad. My iPad mini 2 is the 128 GB version which gives me the ability to store all my music and still be able to store a lot of my movies without having to worry about storage space?

I bought this Ipad mini 2 because I had the Ipad 2 with the cracked screen and I would like to get something smaller and faster. The ipad mini 2 have a amazing speed with the A7 CPU, specially with the games...

Haven't picked up my iPad 3rd Gen since

Wasn't sure I would like the smaller screen size over the full sized iPad. Ever since getting the mini, I haven't really used the iPad 3rd Gen. I don't even notice the smaller screen size. Using it in landscape mode makes up for the difference. Best of all, it is extremely light which makes it easy to hold for a long time. My 3rd Gen iPad is quite heavy in comparison. I opted for the mini retina over the Air 1) for easier portability and 2) price difference.

The iPad showed numerous issues the first day. Any app that I'd try to open it would take a while to pull up and it would freeze! This has to be a joke from Apple/BestBuy!

Older gen 2 iPad mini, but still has a better processor and the 32 mb is a must for the average user. Best Buy customer phone service has always been excellent. Thanks

Bought this for my girlfriend for christmas after I realized she stopped using the one she had for years because of how slow it got. The ipad third gen she owned slowed down because of all the updates. I didn't think she need something as modern as the ipad mini 4, and that 2 would be perfect for her but I was afraid of how old the ios is installed here. The Details on this page says iOS 7 but the ipad really comes with iOS 9 installed already so don't worry about it. It's a lot cheaper than the ipad mini 4 and nearly as good so this was a bargain. Might get my own.

    Another great tablet by Apple

When they called this the "Mini" they meant it. It's just like the full-size iPads, aside from the fact that this one did not have a 64 bit processor, unlike its brothers the iPad Air and Air 2. Currently, this is the best Mini out there right now. the Mini 3 only adds Touch ID, and doesn't provide any other notable spec bumps. The Retina display is crisp, clear, and the performance is great. It's compact enough to take anywhere, and it has a solid build quality. No real complaints other than iOS 8 using a good chunk of storage space on the iPad.

A superb product for aviation APP use

Being a long time user of Microsoft software, I was skeptical about buying an iPad BUT ... the iPad has become THE product to use for aviation APPs. I got a great $260 price with a reward coupon and 10% discount coupon and sale price, so I went for it. The mini size was recommended over the Air 2 and the min 2 was recommended over the mini 3 so I followed those suggestions. For aviation use, I also followed the suggestion to get at least 32GB of memory without the 3G cell function. At first, I was ALL left thumbs with the thing. In fact, I'm still learning. I have to admit that after just a few days of frustration during the learning curve, I'm making the thing hum now. An amazing product and an amazing array of APPs to choose from, as well. As a Sr Citizen, my eyes aren't what they used to be and I must admit that the mini 2 is a bit hard to deal with sometimes BUT ... because of my need in aviation, I have to learn to live with it. I'd recommend an Air for anyone not constrained by size limitations otherwise. I bought a Rocketfish Model: RF-PDMSC13-BK SKU: 6814625 folio for the thing on special for $10 and am VERY happy with THAT purchase, as well. When I first started using the mini, I thought ... why doesn't someone design a holder that you could slip your fingers into. Well, guess what, the folio I bought HAS just that sort of feature. The only thing negative I'd say about the mini is that it's onboard keyboard function SUCKS! for anyone who can touch type like me. Within days of buying it, I'm researching Bluetooth external keyboards. I see that Zagg makes a nice one BUT ... it's price is just too high vs what I paid for the mini AND when I'd want to use the mini by itself, taking it out of that folio's holder OR buying the higher priced model which can be unhooked easily from the keyboard aren't smart moves. I like the Rocketfish folio I already bought so I'll be watching for a standalone external keyboard ... not priority #1 just now. Bottom line ... in 2015, the iPad's are THE BOMB!!
