I transitioned from an iPad to this iPad Mini. i prefer this to the other. The iPad is too unwieldy. I like that I can hold the Mini with one hand. It's also great for using as a remote control for my home theater system. Love it!

This was purchased as a gift. Like every other Apple product, it has the great sound and clarity and ease of use that is associated with the Apple platform. You should know at this point what you're getting yourself into.

Coming from android the ipad does where it counts the most. iOS is solid, smooth, and intuitive. iOS 8 adds a lot of great features that allow me to use continuity between my iPhone and iPad. 32GB is the minimum I would recommend.

This is a perfectly sized iPad for travel or kid use. It's light, fast, and the resolution of the screen makes for an excellent e-reader.

I bought this about 5 months ago and it is still the best iPad for the money. When my Ipad Gen 2 died due to an "accident", I started looking at the options. iPad Mini II actually looked like the best device with the perfect cost/performance ratio. Within the 5 months, iPad Mini II has gone through a few iOS upgrades and still running like new with iOS 10. I cannot be any happier with my purchase.

we wanted to use my sons 23 inch touch screen with an apple product so we get the apps he uses for school so we bought the connectors and the ipad mini...so after Christmas will see if we can get the apps on the big screen

I bought this iPad for my son- he had no idea I was getting it. It really surprised him and turned out to be the perfect gift. The best thing is it's compatible with his other I-products and its so easy to take with you.

The size of the ipad mini is very convenient! Fits great in hands. Seems like the goldilocks zone for ios devices, not too big that its cumbersome, but provides a decent improvement on screen realestate compared to an iphone

We purchased the iPad Mini to replace an iPad 2 that was beginning to show its age. The Mini is perfect for browsing the internet, Facebooking and playing Words With Friends. We could not be happier with this purchase.

After a year of owning the original iPad Mini, I was well entrenched in the Apple app-verse but was fed-up with the new iOS iterations. iOS 7 ran fine on the crippled little Mini, but iOS 8 has pretty much made doing anything a chore. Long-story short, the upgrade to IPad Mini 2 made a huge difference, and I also went from a 16gb model to a 32gb which frankly should be the new minimum capacity with today's app sizes and OS installs.

We have a couple iPads in the house, and found that the 16gb is too small. Don't go less than 32gb if you can at all afford it. The iPad does everything well from streaming media to web surfing, email and productivity

The functionality of the iPad mini is the same as with the iPhone or standard iPad. This was a present for my wife for Mother's Day, it was replacing a Motorola Zoom. She has never questioned not having an android tablet.

We'll I may be a bit biased, I own all Apple products including 3 IPads. Wife wanted the mini because she liked the way it fit in her hands, nice and compact. It's an iPad so it just works, and the resolution is spot on. Love it
