Decent product, but obscenely overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong - the ipad mini is a decent product. The hi-res screen is easily its best feature. We got it as a lark for the family and it's fine so far. So why the low rating? Am I the only one who is flaggergasted that Apple gets away with these prices? We have several name-brand Android tablets in our house (which are a couple years old or so, at this point). All were in the $200 range, and other than the screen, all perform equally well and satisfy my needs in an equal fashion to the mini. So the real question is, is the screen worth the extra few hundred dollars to you? Unless you've drunk the Apple kool-aid and MUST have the latest IOS device, you get much better bang for the buck from other devices, IMO. As usual, your mileage may vary.

Sold at best buy as well only for $299 It runs full windows 8.1 and can handle PhotoShop. IPad mini can browse the net extremely well though as long as you don't go to a Flash site.
