Its the exact same product as the Mini 3 except for the finger print recognition. Go ahead and save the $$ and stick with the Mini 2. That being said, the new Mini 4 only has the advantage of a barometer and a faster processor, so if your not gaming - you dont need that one either.

The Apple product does exactly as it supposed to always works. This to me is the key when it’s a gift for my son.

I previously had an iPad Mini 1 for my toddler and decided to get one of my own. Decided to purchase the iPad Mini 2 versus the 3 because the fingerprint security option wasn't a priority for me. The screen resolution is AMAZING especially when compared to the 1. I highly recommend purchasing the 2nd generation model if the fingerprint security isn't a priority. It's truly the only difference for $100 less.

The mini was a great investment. I use it every day. The size is the main reason why I love it. It's not too small and not too big.

it works as it stated. only thing I don't like is hard to hold without accidently hitting screen. but I guess that is will all tablets. wish the sides were a little wider like the top and bottom. Also wish got more memory- doesn't leave much room for movies. battery life is great!

Although I prefer the regular size iPad for myself, my daughter loves the iPad Mini and the size is easy for her to take places.

My IPad mini was malfunctioning, It kept cutting off so I took it into the Geek Squad for diagnosis. The gentleman was patient with me and once he realized there was no resolution, he exchanged it for a new one since I had the protection plan. I was not in the store more than a half an hour and his kind and courteousness really made my day!

Great for an 11 year old. Was not impressed with shipping. In the packaged container but then put in a box with very little padding.
