The mini performance is noticeable when compared to iPad 4. The a7 chip seems to make a difference. Price was a little high but not unbearable.

It's very simple to use and the screen it great. I go everywhere with it.

It's nice to use the tablet as opposed to my phone. I have used nothing, but apple products since 2008. Nothing works as seamlessly as apple. I use a Mac book pro for my audio recording and mixing, apple TV, and an iphone 5s. They sync flawlessly together. Eventually, I hope to get a nice bamboo case for the ipad and start taking it outside the home. It is much better than using my phone for emails and internet research. I also enjoy the free ilife products. If you are considering a tablet, look no further than the ipad. The mini and the air are exactly the same with different real estate. I like the mini because of how it fits in my hand and is less cumbersome than the ipad air, not to mention cheaper.
