More convenient to hold and a little more portable than the full sized iPad, however, an external keyboard would be a little overkill for this.

Was using an earlier version Ipad. This was a good leap - didn't need the newest thing out there. And it's more compact for easier carrying.

Very portable and light. Live the design, solid battery life and performance. But the screen looks very dated, colours appear washed out, the contrast isn't all that great. Other than the screen everything else is great

Light, extremely functional pad for everything from email, to photo and music storage! Great for googling recipes on Pintrest or reading a downloaded book. It's fast and easy to download apps and fits in my purse to keep nearby. I purchased a sturdy case that has a "kickstand" to use in the house.

Another Apple product that blended easily with the other Apple pieces and parts we all share at home. Kids love the size, and are able to easily do quick research without the need to run for the laptop. Is easy to use and maintain (update). If only the price would drop a bit.

This is my first iPad. My wife has a 1st generation iPad Mini so I have used one before. I have had numerous Android tablets but this beat them all for ease of use, quality and variety of apps, and quality of construction. This was just so easy to get setup and connected. And it is a perfect companion to my iPhone 5. My only complaint is about the price. This is a high priced tablet. At least the price is balanced to an extent by the overall quality of the construction and the stability of the OS and hardware. So I don't feel cheated at all.

Kindergarten are using these for educational reasons in the new age of technology. It is our schools first time to use hand held devices. We do have computers in the classroom but now we can let the more children explore and learn.

Got this for my daughter so she would leave mine alone ! With family sharing I didn't have to buy the aps, music, videos, etc. again. I was able to download just the stuff I wanted her to have. She already knows how to use it also.

I recently upgraded to the iPad Pro 9.7", but for years before I used this iPad Mini with Retina display. It still held up perfectly well with in terms of performance with regular iOS updates into 2016 and in terms of reliability/durability. There is that never-ending Apple vs Samsung philosophical war among users, but I think both sides should agree that Apple has always had the clear edge in build materials and build quality. Years of use with this iPad Mini totally back that up in my experience.

This device was used as a direct supplement for an iPhone. The transition was smooth and the graphics are of good quality. There is a good amount of extras that you can buy too, to add on to your device and/or its capabilities.

Once you start working on the ipad mini, you don't even notice the smaller size. Excellent tablet. It's lightweight so it's very portable.

It powerfulas ipad mini 3 and have same display. Doesnt have the finger print scanner but is 100$ less. I prefer it than the ipad mini 3.

This Ipad really has all a younger teen needs. The value was perfect and durability also. He was up and connected on his on in minutes. Parental control will take us just bit longer but it's good to limit access for now.

Nice little device. Not as big as the full blow iPad which makes it a little easier to tote around. It's basically a bigger version of the iPhone with a few added extras. As usual, it's an Apple, so the quality is there.

Handy to grab and go. Fits into a purse or briefcase easily and does everything a laptop can do.

I would recommend it as an all around tablet. It's smaller size makes it very portable while having all the features of the full sized iPad.

Overall nice design, the cameras allow for good photo taking whilst being able to view/edit them in a large landscape view.

I bought it like a month ago, and now about to get my wife same one too. It take very nice pictures, i could watch sport, with out lagging.

First time I bought iPad mini 2 look great employees taught me how to use it I understand they because never use it before I started use it alot now I know how to use it thanks employees and even Best buy they are really nice

Very good tablet that works very well for children. Large enough to be easy to use, but still small enough to be portable.
