Dad loves his new ipad mini and is looking forward to getting the most out of it

I just returned a horrific Insignia droid tablet. The battery lasted 3 hours and it could not run Netflix due to a firmware issue. I love droid and thought about going with the samsung tablet for $249. This tablet was on sale for $299. I have to admit the screen is amazing, and the i have been playing games on it and watching Netflix for the past several hours and the battery just hit 87%. That is incredible. The ease of use and setup is by far the best I have experienced on Apple or droid side. Only 2 downfalls are you have to use an external thumb drive adapter to add GB to storage where as the droid tabs use internal memory cards. The other issue is you are forced to use Itunes. Now the new interface of Itunes is definitely cleaner than than the old one but meh...still was nice on droid dragging and dropping all my goodies straight from windows folders. Both those 2 cons are minor. The tablet is awesome, and I would hands down tell people to skip the droid tabs in this price range. You will not get a better battery life or screen. There was one Samsung tab that had an amazing screen but cost $100 more.

I am a great fan of Apple. This is my 4th Ipad but this is the best size Ipad to take around with. I love this mini Ipad.

I was looking for a high resolution tablet and I found it. I really enjoy watching movies on it. I wish the speakers were louder though. I'm also having a problem with apps becoming unresponsive so I have to close it and reopen it and it works.

16 gb is not big enough but good for the price. like then smaller screen

I would not recommend this to anyone. You're paying a premium for finger print ability. I'll pass on this one. Either get an iPad mini 2 or 4. Skip number 3.

the new IPad mini is so easy to use and the fingerprint scanner is a great security feature. Apple has another winner!
