The Good: The form factor is perfect for someone who wants to use this casually. I use it to read things that don't appear correctly on my Kindle, and it has the added benefit of being a fully functioning tablet. If you need/want a high contrast display to read magazines, books or comics, I would suggest it. The Bad: Almost identical to the iPad Mini 2. Due to the extremely high re-sale on used Apple products, iPad Mini 2's cost about the same as a "sale price" iPad Mini 3. If you can get a Mini 2 in good condition, it is worth saving the few bucks, as the hardware is mostly the same.

It looks amazing. The retina display is awesome. I watch movies, videos, youtube and you can see the difference between this display and a non retina display.

Bought as a gift for daughter. She uses it for learning games and watching movies. Light and just the right size for her. FaceTime to grandma is also a plus.

Only issue--be sure the mini is the size for you. You may want the larger screen. This model is very quick on the zoom in/out so you can blow up things easily.

This mini is the best for holding to play games. I love it and recommend to all.

I purchased an Ipad Mini 3 for the price of a Mini 2, so I think I got a good deal. My favorite feature is that I can log on to my device using my thumbprint!

this is my second iPad mini, and I much prefer it over the larger version. Delivery was also super quick, and arrived sooner than the estimated delivery date.

We are using this as a second iPad, so we don't have to take turns. Works and acts like the bigger version, but small size is nice for reading books in bed!

Purchased this tablet as a gift for my brothers graduation. He loves it! So convenient, runs great, awesome screen resolution...Im going to buy one for myself.

This iPad is compact but powerful enough for my needs, Web surfing, videos, skype, social networks etc. Also, I got this at a great price on a sale from BB.

Love my iPad mini! Perfect size and does everything my iPhone does. Love that I can sync everything together. Just wish I could get all the apps my phone has.

I am loving my new ipad mini 3. I can watch my favorite movies, tv series anywhere I want, nothing to worry about small screen anymore. And it's easy to carry!

I bought the mini as a birthday gift for my daughter who was turning 9, she always had an Ipod and loved playing Minecraft but wanted something larger. The Mini is a great size for little hands and allows her to have more screen for pictures and game play without being extremely expensive. She loves it!

This ipad is the PERFECT size for airplane travelers. Not too big, not too small. Perfect for watching movies, etc. Love this thing! Well worth the money.

I am a big fan of Apple and Android, but there's just something about the Apple ecosystem that makes it more intuitive and fun to use. Love the iPad Mini!

You will surely notice the difference in improvement between these and the first ipad, i thought the difference was just the display but it is much faster and more stable. I never thought a use for an ipad since I have the iphone, I was so wrong. You will definetely need an ipad as all around utility gadget. It perfectly pairs with a bluetooth keyboard and you would be good to go everywhere.

What can I say. It's a Ipad. This is the right size for me. I didn't want it to big. The gold color is a plus.

Bought this as a gift for my son for Christmas and he is so excited. Well can't the full thumbs up yet but from all we researched it's perfect for him!

If you're looking for an iPad without the size of the big one.. this is perfect. I love the smaller form factor without losing the power of the big ones.
