Same as iPad mini 2, good tablet

The only difference is the addition of a fingerprint reader. If you don't need the newest tablet, these are great. Save money and get the mini 2 if you don't need the fingerprint reader.

Great iPad for a beginner

If you want to have music, videos, and/or pictures stored on the device, an iPad with a larger storage capacity is a must.
