Upgrading from the 1st generation to this the 3rd felt like a good enough upgrade. But if you have the 2, I wouldn't spend the money getting the 3- as the updates aren't sufficient enough.

Nice upgrade from iPad mini 1st gen

The retina display really makes a huge difference despite it being the small screen. Good battery life so far and ipad mini screen protector and case fits perfectly on it.

Good tablet with terrible speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the iPad mini 2 and now the iPad mini 3 and both of these tablets have terrible speakers that don't put enough volume even at full blast to be enjoyable listening to anything. As much as you pay for these iPads you should be able to get decent sound without having to use headphones. Come on Apple put some speakers and sound into these things. Very disappointed in this. Otherwise the tablet has a great form factor and screen resolution.

Perfect iPad for DJI Phantom 3 Pro
