The iPad mini takes great pictures and is easy to carry where ever I go! My kids love it

So I purchased my iPad Mini 3 about a month ago. And so far so great. I love everything about it. I love the Apple iPads in general because they're so lightweight and easy to use. You can take them anywhere and they're not prone to freezing and going through other problems that many other tablets do experience. I mainly use my iPad for personal use, not really for school. I will say that I don't really see a difference between the 1st generation iPad mini (which I had up until I purchased this mini 1 month ago) and the 3rd generation iPad mini. I'm not someone who is super tech savvy and I don't care a lot about what I would deem minor specs. From what I've seen and what I've used the iPad mini for, 1st generation mini worked just as well. Do like the fingerprint scanner though!

Got this for my honey. She suffers from severe carpal tunnel and has trouble holding heavy objects. This ipad is perfect for her. Just the right size and not too heavy. Does everything the full size does. Cpuldn't be happier.

I used to own an iPad 2 which is also a great product. I wanted to update and was torn between the iPad Air and the Mini 3. One I held the Mini 3 in my hand , the decision was made. I love the size and how it feels in my hands.

We wanted the smaller size of a mini over the full sized iPad we first used. My wife love's it; all one hand held. The Mini 3 is really nice screen display upgrade over the initial Mini 1 which I have. All good, love it.

Not much to say on my end since its was a Xmas gift, but she loves it. She said likes the size of the product for reading purposes along with other application activities. This is a great gift for anyone and anytime of the year!

IPad mini is perfectly sized for me (larger than cell phone yet, smaller than bulky lap top). Fits easily in my purse--I use it every day. Have not had any problems with it.

Paying the extra $100 for a the mini 3 with a finger scanner and a better wifi card is not worth it. I hardly use the finger scanner and the wifi speed is unnoticeable. I got the iPad mini 3 for only $50 more because of a black friday promotion. If it wasn't for the promotion I would have gotten the mini 2. Overall, I use the mini 3 daily. Buy a bluetooth keyboard and you got yourself a portable typing machine!

Just what I expected, the iPad Mini 3 is another fine Apple product. Best Buy had a great price on it and it was waiting at the customer service counter when I picked it up after ordering online. So easy to operate the mini!

Very good retina display, light and good for travel

As always Apple has top quality products. IPad Mini is no exception. Compact but powerful. All the features and functions you expect with the IPad but small enough to bring anywhere and easy to just toss in your bag! I love it!

My first iPad was the larger one. When the mini came out I bought it because I thought it would be easier to cart around and use in the kitchen. It is...much easier. Then I recently decided a retina display mini would be even better! Although I'm not an Apple products fan, the Facetime app works perfectly with DSL at our house for "calling" our kids and grandkids in Japan, and when we vacation with our 5th wheel I take my mini loaded with ebooks. Reading with it is easier and so much more comfortable than real books.

My son loves his apple products. They last so long and can handle a middle school student taking the Ipad everywhere very durable and easy to use. You can never go wrong with Apple no tablet compares. He loves his ipad mini!

I was so excited when Best Buy put the ipad mini 3 on sale for 299.00. I love it and I love the fact that I can take it with me wherever I go because it is so small.

Just got rid of first IPad mini 1st gen. This newest version is a lot more capable of the chore with its faster processor. Best Buy had a Smokin deal on this IPad . Same price as a iPad Mini 2 .....Love it and Best Buy.

Regardless of the bells and whistles that competitors add to their devices... None makes up for the ease of use and reliability of apple products. I own a Samsung Galaxy tab and Note and the Mini 3 beats both hands down.

I had an ipad 2 before I purchased this mini. I am glad that I upgraded. The screen is much clearer. It works faster. The screen is small but I have gotten use to it.

Another amazing product from Apple. Purchased as a supplement whenever I need a smaller form factor, such as traveling or book reading. My 7 year old likes it because she has smaller hands and can hold it much easier!

This purchase was an upgrade from the iPad mini 2 w/Retina. I got it on sale for $225. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while but could not justify spending $100 more just for Touch ID. At this price it was well justified to upgrade. iPad function is identical to iPad mini 2 just with Touch ID. I will say Touch ID is a nice feature for quickly unlocking the iPad. The only "issue" that may evolve into something is the fact that it runs hotter than the iPad Mini 2. I would recommend the iPad mini 3 over all android tablets in the small form factor because of build quality and how many updates you will receive from Apple. It is perfect for those looking for a small portable tablet just pair it with a Bluetooth keyboard to get productive work done.
