Even with an iPhone, I find that the iPad Mini 3 very useful. Initially, I didn't think that I would ever have a need, but find it to be very versatile for e-mails and messaging while traveling. I use it daily and I don't know how I got by withuot it.

Though it is limited for my work use (unless I buy an additional app - I.e. excel, word), I truly enjoy having it with me all the time. Its size and lightness is practical to fit in my purse. I can access my Apple TV site, Netflix, read/answer basic emails, etc. And of course, love face time which allows me to talk with my family, friends and business associates internationally (and locally) anytime!

I bought the mini3 for my daughter. She loves it. The smaller size makes it easier for her to carry around, yet she has the same functionality of the larger iPads.

Saved me from losing my phone in an airport. It was backup using Find IPhone app that allowed me to go back and get it before next flight. Also it's much better viewing apps -like racing games.

I bought this as a gift to replace an iPad 2. I was worried about the size, but the higher pixel density due to the "retina" display definitely made up for it. The iPad mini 3 was an excellent choice as it is more portable and being able to thumb type without splitting the keyboard is a major plus.

Very happy with this purchase. Picture is very clear. I wasn't sure about getting a mini as we have an iPad 2 but the size is still great. This was a gift for my son and he loves every part of it.

I bought one for my grandson and one for my wife and one for my aunt. They all love them. It's a great product, I hardly ever use my computer anymore. Just about everything I do on my computer I can do from my iPad. I bought them as gifts because I think everyone should experience the joy of owning an iPad.

I love the new Ipad. I had the original, the 2 and the retina ipad. The mini is great. It is lightweight and compact but delivers a great picture.

I bought the iPad Mini 3 as a smaller device with the iPad features that I am used to with my iPad 4. I also prefer the smaller size when using it as a reader. The reason I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the lack of the latest processor (A8X) that Is present in the iPad Air 2 even though they were introduced at the same time and the 62% color gamut which makes bright colors a bit washed out compared to the iPad 4, Air and Air 2. But I knew all of this before I bought it as these issues were not a deal breaker for me. I like the Mini 3 and have enjoyed using it.

Was looking for a tablet to replace a 7" tablet I purchased back in 2011 and the iPad mini 3 has been an awesome upgrade. Perfect size, nice storage options, and the screen offers great clarity.

I always want to see my kids at home when I'm away on my work and Skype helps me a lot to do this thru my Mini IPad where I bring it wherever I go.

This was a great price for Ipad mini 3, however I returned it and got the Ipad 4 when I saw it on sale for only $25 more for the same GB.

Purchased gen 3 iPad mini with 64GB vs gen 4 with less than that. The speed difference is unnoticeable. No micro SD expansion on Apple products. Get as much space as you think you'll need, than double that.

It is just the right size and easy to use. So far he is copying in handwritten recipes using the Evernote app and can easily manipulate the few programs he has been using.

Purchased as gift for grandson's graduation. Perfect size easy to take along, sincs with iphone. He loves it... all that matters!

i upgraded to iPad mini 3 for the memory and I love it! The Touch ID feature is fun and practical. Great security feature.

Our household has 3 iPads and I must say the IPad mini is my favorite. I like the size and ease of use. The standard IPad is a bit cumbersome at times. It is perfect.

This I Pad is small and easy to carry around. It is great for the little kids and it is more durable the other tables.

This is pretty much the same as a larger iPad except smaller. If you like apple products/iPad, you will basically like this. I am not sure if it is the new operating system or not, but it doesn't seem to work as fast/well. The fingerprint technology is horrible and I stopped using it. I constantly had to reset the finger print, and then it only worked for a few days before needing to be reset.
