Our son bought this for his sister for Christmas, she is in college and carries tons of books, this will lighten her load. Now ITunes has the Microsoft Word and Powerpoint for it for free. so double bonus!

perfect for a range of activities such as small assignments, quick research, and even for entertainment purposes. And because of the great compact size it fits right in a purse/bag for travels.

Apple just keeps getting better. I have heard that they might not make them anymore, which would be a shame. Its the perfect size and weight, I can't handle anything heavier bigger due to RA.

Had a iPad 2 traded it in for the iPad mini 3 64 gb. Really like extra storage. Only complaint is lacking in covers or the good covers are ridiculously priced. All in all happy with purchase.

This is the best iPad for the price during the Black Friday sale. The iPad is the best replacement for an aging laptop or desktop and you want to bring the internet and games with you wherever you go. This is not a toy, as one might think, but a very useful tool that you can do everything with, such as email, texting, writing, photography. I have been waiting to buy one for over three years, however the price-point was always a problem. Thanks to the Black Friday $100 discount, I was finally able to purchase a few for the RIGHT price.

Great product for the kids. Only issue was during set up had to get apple involved. Also having trouble connecting to wifi in the house some times

My wife had an I-Pad 2 and was very pleased to move to the I-Pad Mini 3. The size fits in her purse, which makes it easier to carry around. Now, she watches her own movie on the airplane.

I was going to buy the iPad Mini 2 last year, to give my wife my 1st gen iPad mini, but decided to hold off. This year I got the iPhone 6 and really enjoyed having the TouchID. So I decided to buy the iPad Mini 3 to get the TouchID feature that the iPad Mini 2 did not have. I realize all the other features are the same, but I was willing to pay for the convenience.

It's my third iPad. I had a first generation, a first generation mini, and now this mini with the retina display. Great improvement!

I bought this iPad for personal use and I've been using it on a daily basis. I just wish it had a light, for taking pictures with a flash.

I just upgraded my IPad mini 2 to the 3 with retina display. Everything works seamlessly and it was simple to download my info from my previous mini to the new one using ICloud.

For better or worse its exactly what you expect from an iPad - I like and hate certain things about iOS. But I knew that going into it.

No bugs, no glitches. The thing is the best iPad yet. I work as a pharmacist and this fits perfectly in my lab coat. A wonderful healthcare tool for the practicing pharmacist.
