I have an older iPad, which I have used and used. One of the things I use it for is as an e-reader. Since I have difficulty getting to the library to get books, I download e-books. While the regular sized iPad works well for reading, I wanted something that was a bit smaller and lighter. The mini is now my reader. Of course I use it for many other things that it is capable of doing.

I love my new iPad mini! I chose to upgrade when Best Buy had a trade in deal going. I previously had the iPad mini 2 16GB. I like how small and thin it is! It fits nicely in my hand. The regular iPad is a little too big for me. It's small enough to fit in my purse. The gold color is gorgeous. First impression was how light it is! Probably the lightest tablet I've ever seen. I also love the look of apple products. Add a speck case like I did that allows it to stand up and the look is complete. The Touch ID is so convenient and opens my iPad mini super fast. The added space on it is awesome as well. I have all three divergent movies downloaded onto it as well as about 20 apps and still have 100gb of space left! If you're looking for a nice looking, small, fast, and easy to use tablet, I highly recommend this!

Excellent size, memory and speed to take with me when traveling.

Speed, size, portability...it has everything. I never leave home without it.

Bought this for my wife for her birthday. She wanted something small and manageable. This has turned out to be perfect for her. Once she learned how to use it she never looks at her laptop anymore. She linked it to her phone for added functionality. Of course its an Apple product so it just works. Very impressed and hoping to get one for myself later.

This iPad Mini replaced a much larger and heavier 1st Generation iPad. The Mini is just that, mini. It is very thin, very light, easy to carry around and use in your hands. Has a very nice screen image that is a lot larger than a phone but in a nice compact package. Battery is good and holds its charge when not being used. It's a keeper for me.

Best long battery in this edition, super light and more space

I was between the Ipad and the Ipad mini for my daughter and myself. I just gave a trial to the mini version and loved. Great performance, just the right size to carry on whenever you want and can be easily converted into a mini pc with a bluetooth keyboard. Loved the rose/gold color... thought it would be too much but it turned out pretty!

We owned a 1st generation IPAD for about 5 years, and would have last even longer if the screen did not accidentally crack. So, we decided we wanted to get another APPLE for a tablet. Since we knew it was great quality and would last long. The mini size is great for my 4 year old daughter, that like to play games, apps, and watch you tube.

Much faster vs IPad 2... better battery life..... lighter.

I have owned an IPad Mini 2 for over two years and have really enjoyed the combination of portability, flexibility & convenient online access. When the opportunity arose to upgrade to an iPad Mini 4 with 128 gb of storage space, A8 processor and 2 Gb of operating RAM it was a virtual no-brainer! Touch ID is icing on the proverbial cake!

Replaced older model. Faster. Better storage. Great size.

Had to replace my older ipad as it stopped working and would not turn on & could not get it fixed so I had to get a new one I was a little reluctant to get the mini, but am so glad that I did. The size is very convenient to tote along, and to tuck into my back, vivid screen color, takes great pics and videos. Multi tasking is great too.

I bought this iPad to replace my mini 2. It has many more GBs. It’s pretty fast, and has a nice long use time. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Love the small mini size as it also doubles as an ereader.

I got this to replace an old apple mini. Not hugely different but better screen and much greater memory than previous Mini 2, better camera. Overall, good value since it was a decent sale price.
