You can start using as soon as you open the package. It has all the parts needed ( fully charged, charging cable and power transformer) to use immediately. The choices of colors are good too. Gold is a unique color, not the traditional black, gray, red or pink.

I caught the iPad mini 4 on sale and knew this was the best choice after comparing other iPads and Samsung Galaxies. The up to date technology and compact size is exactly what I was looking for. You won't be upset with this purchase!
