What can I say. Fast, great display, 128 gb memory, and a great all around piece of Apple hardware. I'm an Android guy and bought this since my DJI drone works much better on an Apple device. If you're part of the Apple scene, you'll love it ... especially when on sale $100 off.

the ipad mini serves my needs very well. it is simple to use, very compact and has all the features I need.

More room for today's larger apps and graphics much faster which really showed when using it for controlling quad-copter.

This is my third iPad and second iPad mini. It is faster than my previous iPad mini but still maintains it's ease of use.

I have been a fan of Apple since my first iPod nano (which for a couple years, was one of my most prized possesions). I've had multiple apple products from that point and now (a couple iPods, two iPhones and an iPad mini 2) and none have reduced my enthusiasm for Apple. This iPad mini 4 is replacing my old iPad mini 2 and since upgrading from the iPad mini 2, I've noticed an improvement of speed and usablility. I had a choice of this iPad mini 4 and the new iPad (2017), and I can honestly say that I have no regrets. This machine may have come out a couple years ago, but in terms of portability and overall functionality, it's perfect for what I needed (and wanted). The mini is small enough to carry around in my purse, but large enough to view documents quite comfortably. I can even hold it in one hand! The speed doesn't annoy me like the old iPad mini 2 did and I love the finger print scanner (although it doesn't always recognize my print and I need to adjust the grip). I very much love my iPad mini 4 and recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet.

By far a superior product. Expensive but worth every penny. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for.

I was updating from a first gen iPad Mini to the iPad Mini 4 since my old one started feeling sluggish and the newer apps were not supported on the old OS. I am glad I did. I have lots more space (got the 128gb) and it is really quite responsive and launches apps quickly. I am glad I stuck with the iPad series. I did try out an android tablet - the Samsung Tab, and while it has its pros and cons, I felt I was more comfortable with the Apple iPad.
