Surprisingly not as seamless as one might assume

That said, I assumed I would either get or be directed to a "quick" set up kind of thing. I did get set up pretty easily on my own but there are many gestures and actions I was not familiar with, coming from Windows and Android. Apple assumes you have thousands of their products and doesn't seem to anticipate a new user. Really? That can't be good for business. It's a nice tablet and, once I figure it all out, I'm sure I will enjoy it but new users--plan on searching out tutorials or reading their ponderous manual. (And feeling stupid even tho' you are a fairly savvy tech user--which doesn't endear you to Apple.)

Great size to take along

So glad I purchase this. I considered purchasing a larger phone and opted to go with the iPod mini which I am so glad I did go with the iPad mini as it is an excellent device.
