Having owned the iPad mini 1 and 2, the processing speed for the iPad mini 4 was so much faster. The features such as the fingerprint comes in handy, but not really necessary. The images are really sharp and the screen is very responsive. Along with the new software updates, the new features made accessing, opening, and closing apps easier. This is definitely a great addition to my iPhone 7.

I bought this for my 90 year old dad, and he loves it. Uses it all the time for everything. And the smaller size than his previous one is much better.
