We are Apple product family and my daughter has been asking for a iPad mini for years. We agreed to get her one for her 10th birthday. Best Buy has a trade-in policy so we traded in her iPod touch and used it towards the purchase of her iPad mini. We purchased it because we have always gotten great quality products from Apple.

I own an Apple Macbook Pro 15.4 which has been excellent. I bought the Apple iPad mini 4 for travel. When I went to download pictures it wasn't easy. I could see the mini on the screen and thought I would only have to drag my photos into the mini. Not so. We went back to Best Buy and there was a system to go through iTunes, then the cloud, etc. etc. etc. I was surprised that the two devices were so incompatible for easy transfer. I returned the item and appreciate Best Buy's return policy.

Gave as gift to my aunt. She likes it. I would have bought an Android tablet for more flexibility. But for the tech challenged, the iPad is not a bad choice.

bought this for my teen and has loved it since. She will be using it at school and has said it's the best thing she's gotten.

This is a good tablet with good build quality and aesthetics. Display is nice and battery life is good although it doesn't last as long as advertised. My only gripe is the memory, anything less than 32 gigabytes is insufficient these days especially for the price of this thing.
