I held out for awhile because I had two e-readers which are fine for books. The iPad mini 4 does so much faster and easier that I don't regret buying it for a moment. It keeps apps organized at my fingertips. It's size is perfect to carry in my purse as an electronic Bible, to FaceTime with the grandchildren, to check email, or to cruise thru news or Pinterest in clear, beautiful color from the comfort of my recliner. While I could do most of these things on my phone, let's face it--the screen is smaller. The size of the mini is convenient and enjoyable to use.

Let me say, I am a long-time Android user. I have no plans to purchase an iPhone. That being said, I love this thing. I recently bought a Mac Mini and decided to try an iPad out since they were on sale. Perfect size and weight. My only gripe is storage. Going into this, I knew I couldn't expand the memory (one of the main reasons I'm still with Android); but when I got the 16gb I, I expected to get more than 10.5gb user accessible storage. I'll probably end up giving this to my daughter at some point and upgrading to a 64gb model. And Garageband is awesome. Plus, if you use Garageband on Mac OSX, you can use this as a midi controller for Garageband with a free app from Apple (Logic Remote). You're welcome.

I had the original IPad Mini, Samsung Tab A and finally acquired the IPad Mini 4. So glad I went back to the IPad mini! Fast, takes great pictures and so easy to maneuver. Very happy with my purchase!

It's the best small size tablet with a superb picture quality.its handy & easy to carry in a purse when going on a holiday to take pictures.it was a gift from my husband and I absolutely love it.

Bought this to fly our Drone with and it does that flawlessly! Now we use it for everything. Great tablet! If you're only running a few things than 16GB should be enough for you. If you're going to be using a lot of apps or video/music, I would spring for the 64GB or 128GB models. Excellent Product! Apple Rocks!!!

My daughter was always asking me to have an Ipad Mini, she states that it was better for her schoolwork, and more portable than the regular Ipad models. She used to have and Ipad air, but with her new Ipad mini 4 she is really happy, she can do all her homework and carry everywhere. It is an excellent Apple product.

I see only pluses, screen is incredible, battery life long lasting, this 4th model little bit skinny, so buyer be aware, when you try to save some money buying old versions ipad cases. Buy only for 4th model. Oh yeah, bought open box, for $256, box came smashed and dirty, but ipad itself like new condition.

I bought this iPad mini for my wife who wanted to take it with her in her purse, it has a very good size. Performance and battery life are great. I got it on sale for $300 so great price too.

I've had a few Android tablets in the past. They all seem to be go completely obsolete within a year and a half. I have friend with iPads MUCH older than this, and they still work great! The Mini 4 has all the features I wanted and should be nice and futureproof for a couple years. Works great!

My son is 8 years old and uses his iPad to play on various apps. It's lightweight, portable, and durable (when in a kid-proof case). It goes everywhere with us because of its small size.

I was looking for a tablet to use when I travel and I researched online to see which one to purchase. All of the reviews raved about IPad. I have never owned an Apple product before, but was curious to see what all the rave was about. MY husband bought me one for Christmas, and we celebrated early this year, because we will be traveling for the holiday and I wanted to use it on my trip. I haven't explored everything on it, but so far I am enjoying my new toy.

The IPM4 is my first tablet from Apple. It works as well as my IPhone 6S and I had no issue figuring out the set-up or operational issues. I am a satisfied user. Sorry if this is not an in-depth review. I recommend this product.

This is a fine upgrade of the Minis. Fast processor, crystal clear Retina screen, finger print security-just the main improvements. As previous minis, perfect size for travel.

Enjoy using device. Great for watching television or movies. Only issue is I cannot use wireless headset with it. Have not tried Skype on it yet.

Got this for my sister. She's chic and likes the new gold color. Me, I'm more 'meh' on it. But I'm certainly not going to remove a star for color. Like pretty much anything Apple has done recently, this IPad mini is 'gold.' Get it? Anyway, good product at a great price. Get it.
