Why is it slow

The battery dies when I’m not using it which is annoying. I had to get a paper feel screen protector to use it with my pencil. It’s also very slow. I thought it was my internet but I think it’s this iPad. It was a used or refurbished one so I guess you get what you pay for. In the future I think I’ll get a bigger one.
