Had to return this "open box" item. It was supposed to be an excellent open box item that had gone through professional cleaning, came very dirty and very used looking. I returned for a lower GB but in the color I originally wanted anyways. BTW, only saved 20 bucks buying open box for an item that was clearly, at minimum, moderately used.

I had to return it. It wouldn’t charge in my home. The Geek squad employee said my outlets weren’t strong enough to charge it. I don’t believe that.

Item arrived in a box that look like it was stuck on a conveyer belt at an amazon warehouse…smh The retail box was in shambles but the device was/is in great physical condition. Saved 400$ so cant complain much…lol

I had an iPad with cellular and ended up with this. Took it back and bought a cellular able one elsewhere. Also cancelled membership and protection.

When I got it, it had the wrong charging cord then 5 days in I had to send it in to get replaced I was lied to and lots of misinformation Tried to and thought I was talking to corporate only to be misinformed again

Terrible experience with Best Buy & their customer service is awful.

I use it to play games that my phone and laptop can't handle, and it never even gets warm. I also like how small and lightweight it is, which is easy on my carpal-tunnel-prone wrists. On the downside, it was impossible to do things like set custom notification/charging sounds, or change the keyboard. The thing I'm most disappointed about is that Apple's Japanese keyboard doesn't support handwritten Kanji: you have to switch to a Chinese keyboard, and write the Hanzi. This means you can't handwrite characters that are native to Japanese/are different than the Chinese versions/don't exist in Chinese. On an Android device you could download a 3rd party keyboard, but of course Apple won't let you do that. What a bummer!

Really nice size and form factor. But the screen is poor quality. Very blurry. Poor colors and blacks. Not sharp at all. Worst screen iv ever seen on a apple device

The item arrived with a slightly damaged screen; what a shame.

I have been having it for years and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s not too small nor not too big. Can take anywhere without worrying about it taking up too much space. Pretty convenient when you need to let your phone charge and can just use the mini for the meantime. Like how it’s portable with the Apple Pencil as well

I purchased this mini iPad for my daughter. Even with the padded case, this iPad is still very light weight. It is the 256GB one and holds seasons of her favorite shows and has a great battery life. This comes in handy during our long road trips.

Perfect size, so handy, LOVE it. I use it over my 10.5 ipad Pro even though the screen is technically slightly less fancy just because its so comfortable to hold for sketching, drawing, writing, everything. Hopefully one day Apple makes a Pro this size, haha. Win!

It didn’t work I just sent it back.It was piece of junk do not ever buy open box again.

I gave it a one star because it stopped charging one week into my owning it, had to return it to store.

iPad was shows as open box new, it constantly crashes and is becoming unusable

Not even a star, used less then a day, have software issue with bios 15, itunes wont recognize mini ipad.

kept freezing up. it was an open box purchase which I will never do again.

Honestly, I would just tell anyone if you want to buy Apple products just go straight to the Apple Store. I had a lot of problems with my screen and service .

As usual, this is a great product. Battery life, screen quality, syncing with my other Apple products. The speed is sensational.

I’ve had the iPad mini for many versions of it. My last one was the iPad mini 5 th edition, however the screen was going and battery was not lasting, so I upgraded. I must admit, they worm almost the same. The 6th edition does have s slight better screen resolution. Which for general use, YouTube, web, texting, email, is more of a nauseance especially if you need reading glasses. Despite adjusting the text to large, the general font is still significantly smaller, which I think has to do with the increased resolution . I’m sure watching videos will be good on this, but I do this mostly on trips. It does charge really fast. The Touch ID works really well despite being just a tiny power button. I can feel the processor is faster in simple searches. Overall, it’s very similar to my iPad 5. If it were not for the non responsive screen, poor battery, I would have been better keeping that one. I did pick this up at almost $85 off as an open box
