I found a place for the mini
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the years, I’ve owned numerous iPads and iPhones. By and large I’ve always preferred the largest form factors available. For me, the smaller iPad mini didn’t seem to fit in anywhere. My go to device while at home was the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I even used that monster of a tablet to read at night while in bed. Unsurprisingly, I started to experience hand and wrist pain while holding that beast, mostly one-handed, while in bed. I decided to give the previous gen iPad mini a try due mostly to its greatly reduced weight. Turns out the mini’s size and weight are ideal for reading in bed. This 6th gen iPad mini is both smaller (overall form factor) and bigger (screen size due to reduced bevels) and even weighs a tiny bit less then the previous gen mini did, which made the upgrade a no-brainer for me. The updated design and specs are a big bonus. Due to the time I spend reading in bed at night, the iPad mini now gets more screen use then my iPhone and bigger iPad. I’ve read about the so called “jelly scrolling“ issue with this newer iPad mini, and I can even see it on mine if I try hard enough to. In every day use it is a nonissue for me.

Another great device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd iPad mini. It was very fast and easy to set up. Each new Apple device is getting easier and easier to set up, it was fast too. I love the display/screen. The resolution is awesome. It is very light weight. I had to get used to the Touch ID button on top or side depending on how you hold it. No complaints, another great Apple product. I wish it had more size options: 64 or 256 only. I would also love to see it in product red!!

Great small form factor tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great portable tablet. I ultimately returned it and got an iPad Air version 5 instead, only because I'm getting older, I need to use reading glasses and it was too much of a strain to use the smaller screen that this tablet has. The Air has a few advantages the come from the faster M1 processor, but I think for 95% of the population, they don't need those features. Almost no one needs a Pro ipad. Otherwise, the experience of the Mini is the same. Screen looks great, it is as fast as you want. If you're used to using your phone for everything, having a screen that has around twice the area as the phone will be a revelation. If you're a computer/ laptop person, the smaller screen might not be enough for you. The Mini is as light as a feather, super thin, it fits in one hand, it fits in your pocket. You can use the latest version of the Apple Pencil with it for sketching and taking notes, correcting photos etc. Most people "recommend" getting the 256GB storage version, but with the ability to store your things (media, files etc) in the cloud and the ubiquity of fast internet, you don't need that storage on the device. Save your money. Mine was an open box in "Excellent" condition. It was literally the same as new, minus the wrap that comes on a new iPad. The battery only had 3 charge cycles on it.

Why I Love the Apple iPad Mini for School
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iPad Mini is perfect for school because it’s lightweight, portable, and easy to carry. The sharp 8.3-inch display is great for reading and taking notes. With the A15 Bionic chip, it runs smoothly, even with multiple apps open. iPadOS allows for split-screen multitasking, and using the Apple Pencil makes note-taking effortless and natural. The long battery life means it lasts all day. Overall, the iPad Mini has made my schoolwork much easier and more efficient. I absolutely love it!

Love the mini
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect size of iPad for me. I typically only use an iPad for watching shows, reading, and surfing web and this is perfect for it. Very light weight does not become fatiguing in the hands. Gorgeous screen and good battery life. Highly recommend

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fantastic iPad very fast processor and the display excellent. I was in need of a smaller iPad for when I travel and this is exactly what I had in mind. I wear cargo style pants a lot and this fits in a pocket like it was made for them. Very thin and light weight. So for the battery seems to last a long time. Very Happy with my purchase.

GREAT PURCHASE!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10 recommend! Bought this IPad for my girlfriend as a random gift & it is everything & more. She absolutely loves it. I thought it would be too small but it is perfect. Battery life is great, color is very pretty & having this size makes it very easy to transport. Also compatible with apple pencil!

Best portable tablet on the market right now
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While not perfect, it is probably closest to perfect based on competition right now in both the Android and Apple space (previous generations). The screen is vibrant, crisp, and displays content flawlessly (for a 60Hz display) and leave very little to be desired. The only complaint I have is that there are times where some touches may not be registered. It's not as responsive as say, other iPads that I've used in the past. The form factor and size are fantastic to have a device that is not quite as small as a phone, nor as big as the typical full-sized 10'' and above tablet. With a case, the tablet is fairly durable and great to carry around wherever you are if you need to be connected, or just want to relax casually. Battery life is also great- I don't need to charge it until a few days after using it moderately. Mileage may vary with different users. Overall, this is a great tablet that I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a small form tablet. All competition out there especially in the Android space can't compete when it comes to security, features, usability, and overall quality. The only competition it may have with vendors such as Lenovo is battery life (such as the Tab M8).

Sons Gift Review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the iPad mini 6! It’s small size makes it so portable. Some of my favorite features are all day battery life, the good cameras with center stage, perfect for gaming and editing, and the A15 bionic chip makes it so fast that downloads take less then a minute. I definitely recommend buying this amazing device!

Best iPad Mini to-date
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best iPad Mini to-date. Fast, beautiful screen and super portable! The only regret I have is not getting the 256 GB model. I wish they still offered a 128 GB option. I actually filed up the 64 GB faster than I thought I would. Great for gaming too! Apple chips are the bomb!

iPad Pro 11 Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous iPad was the 11-inch Pro and that is the baseline to what I'm comparing this 6th Gen iPad Mini. I'll spare you all the nitty gritty details that can be found elsewhere online and just summarize by saying that the newest Mini is everything I like about having a tablet and there is nothing about my Pro that I miss. Since the Mini 6 has a full speed, full function USB-C port, I'm able to plug in external SSD drives whenever I need to copy things to/from the iPad. It supports Apple Pencil 2 for those rare times I actually use the pencil. It is fast, small, lightweight and has excellent battery life. I mainly use this Mini for viewing schematics or watching streaming video content. I do some light web work on it and even less office productivity - I use a Mac for that stuff, which brings me to my final point: My iPad Pro with all the accessories I had for it (Magic Keyboard/Trackpad case, Pencil 2, etc) was so close to being a laptop but at the end of the day it just wasn't. Brilliant as iPad OS is, it is no replacement for a full on laptop/desktop OS. So here I am lugging around this big heavy iPad and my MacBook Pro or MacBook Air with the only redeeming benefit of the iPad being that I could write on the screen - which, again, I rarely did. What I really wanted was not a laptop replacement tablet but rather a sidekick companion that was light-hearted and easy take along. For me, the Mini is the Robin to my Batman Laptop. They're not fighting over who gets to do what, instead they play well together. My Macbook is the workhorse and the main productivity tool. When I need to go out and fix a system, I Airdrop the schematic to my iPad mini and go do thing I need to do, leaving the big Macbook at my desk. When I get back from doing the thing, I Airdrop back to my Mac any photos I may have taken, sync some notes, and redlines to schematics and then I resume my work from there. That is how I imagine Apple originally envisioned all of this working and it does work brilliantly. The iPad Pro does have a place in some people's workflow but I think in all honesty most people are those "some people". Just get the Mini and enjoy not spending as much while still getting 99% of the same features.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the ever-evolving tech cosmos, Apple's iPad Mini truly sets itself apart. The device, despite its "mini" moniker, packs a formidable punch in terms of performance and features, giving its Android counterparts a spirited run for their money. The iPad Mini stands out with its nimble A15 Bionic chip, which makes every swipe, click, or scroll incredibly fluid and quick. With the addition of iPadOS, the user experience takes on a seamless, almost telepathic quality. This dynamic combination proves that Apple is far from resting on its laurels. The Mini's vibrant and crisp Retina Display gifts users with stunning visuals. Whether streaming movies or multitasking, the display never misses a beat. The solid battery life further cements its spot as a reliable everyday companion. One glaring omission, however, is the lack of cellular connectivity. Being restricted to Wi-Fi can be limiting for users who wish to remain connected on-the-go. This is an area where some Android tablets may edge out the iPad Mini. The open-box condition, surprisingly, didn't affect the product’s functionality. In fact, it functioned remarkably well, proving Apple's commitment to quality. In conclusion, the iPad Mini, with its unrivaled user experience and spectacular performance, is a substantial upgrade over many Android tablets. With future iterations, one can hope that cellular connectivity becomes a standard feature. For now, it continues to be an excellent tablet, offering a premier Apple experience in a pocket-friendly size.

Best Mini yet (with room for inprovment)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small but mighty, the iPad Mini 6th gen makes it way to the forefront to those that wants an iPad… but smaller. It does almost eveything a full sized iPad does, and does it with ease rocking the same processor found in both the iPhone 13 Pro and the regular iPhone 14. With it’s 8.3 inch display, it has capable room to pair with the 2nd gen apple pencil for those that likes to draw, or jot down ideas just a note pad. Though a great iPad, some elements fall short. You are locked to two storage options: 64 Gb or 256 Gb. When fully set up in the 64Gb option, you’re left with ~44Gb of usable storage. If you’re willing to shell out an additional $150, then go for the 256Gb. Other shortcomings is the lack of pro features found in the pro models such as 90hz variable refresh liquid retina dispaly. Additionally, you’re left with the older tech fingerprint reader as means of biometric autherntication; unlike the FaceID feature found in the iPad Pro. If thats a deal breaker, then look for other options. TL;DR: You have to want to get this because its a compact iPad that can used 2nd gen Apple Pencil. Otherwise, consider the similarly priced iPad Air.

Its sleek design and 7.9-inch Retina display offer stunning visuals, while the A-series chip ensures smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and productivity tasks. Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iPad mini is great. I bought the purple one and the color is beautiful. It does everything that the full-sized iPad can do, while being much smaller. It fits perfectly in the pocket of my lab coat, definitely recommend it to medical/nursing/PA students who are doing rounds.
