    Bought for my wife who is challenged using pc computers, but is good using her iPhone. This has the look and navigation like the iPhone, and operates all of it's programs used on her iPhone. She chose it over the Kindle, for those reasons. Apple makes a wireless keyboard for faster typing, but does not make a cover for it (though they do for all other iPads). We'll have to see if there is another maker.

    The iPad mini is hands down the best small-sized tablet you can buy. The cost is naturally higher than competing products (as is Apple's MO), but the cost is worth it for the overall quality of the iPad; on both the software and hardware sides of things.
