    This is a great gift for any college student. I gifted my girlfriend this tablet and she uses it everyday. She loves the iPad more than me I think.

    Although the new IPad is a neat upgrade to the IPad mini 5, I'd have to say it might be slightly over-hyped. I think one thing lacking is the camera. For $500, as a bare minimum, it should have a super wide angle option for both cameras, not just the front-facing. I opted for the regular IPad 9th Gen, as for $299 (price match), you cannot beat the value, and personally I think the mini 6's screen should be just slightly larger. That's just not enough real estate to see / read some things.
