only works as an add on to existing cell service

You CAN NOT get cell service to this item unless you already have cell service and you add this on to your existing service. i spent a ton of money on this, thinking it would be great for lots of things and a phone too, only to find out that I had to spend even more money for a phone anyway...... Best Buy did not explain this when they sold me on it.

Expensive non functioning cellular

I spent hours and hours on the phone with Verizon & I could not get the cellular function to work. This IPad is very expensive. I don’t know if the product was defective or if Verizon just can’t help people over the phone but I was pretty disappointed. I returned the device to Best Buy.

Perfect for Private Pilot knee board.
