Bought brand new for my mother to replace her 1 yr old bulky and heavy iPad 10.9” and was not disappointed- so much lighter and with newer tech seems better. She is currently bedridden and not using it much so i get to. I had gen 1 mini but smashed it 7 yrs ago so this seems years ahead of original. USB-C will take time to adjust since I have plenty of lighting cables. Was not too happy with price originally but got it on sale and used $350 in best buy rewards. Still need case and screen protector but works as needed.

This has been a game changer for taking notes during meetings. The size also makes it incredibly easy to bring anywhere.

First off, the performance is on another level. Apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and even graphic heavy games and creative apps run like a dream. The A17 Pro is the same chip found in Apple’s high end devices, so getting that kind of power in such a small iPad is kind of wild. It's fast really fast.

It is perfect, you can travel easily with it. It has a similar size as a notebook. I also got the apple pencil and it works great to handwrite.

The iPad mini 7 in purple has a subtle shade of purple, which looks really nice. The heat management is decent, and the new processor ensures smooth performance.

The new Ipad Mini A17 is a nice update. It could have used an M2 chip but the A17 is quite capable of handling all tasks. It's a great size for traveling and just throwing into a backpack or bag. I use it mainly for reading, watching YT or Netflix and light productivity. Battery life is great and standby time is amazing! If you want portability, this is the ipad to get. If you want something with more power and a larger screen for drawing I would suggest upgrading to an Ipad Air or Pro model. Don't get me wrong, the ipad mini is capable of handling tasks its larger counterparts can, but the screen size may hinder your user performance with such apps.
