The main drawback that reduces it by one star is going to touch to open. My older mini had the button at the bottom of the pad. That was much better. The location of the touch to open on the new mini makes it harder to use when the pad is in a protective case.

Great Machine for portability

Was a great piece for in and out of surgery because fit in my back pocket. Apple does this thing a disservice by not upgrading the display, though. Compared to my 13” air, there is a noticeable difference in picture quality. It has the chip to run a much better display.

NOT WORTH THE COST

I cleaned the screen with an alcohol wipe and it appears that some may have seemed under the glass so I now have a large spot in the upper right corner that will not dry up! This is my last IPAD MINI!!
