I purchase this iPad mini and thought I got the retina version. Wasn't to my liking going to exchange for new iPad mini 3 now.

This new iPad mini should have been the only iPad. It's perfect in every way. The Verizon LTE is extremely fast and the size is perfect. Battery is long lasting and even though the display isn't a retina display it does the job just fine.

I think this is the best ever ipad which I used, its size make this product separate from others, most important is FAST browse of internet/apps, lighter weight to carry by one hand, a genuine smart look, It attracts you like a beautiful girl give you a smiling look which you can not forgot for a long time,

I have read many reviews and keep bumping into the "not a retina display" critique. I am fortunate in that I have an iPad 3 with Retina Display also but have no problems the iPad Mini screen. I use it as an e-reader and have watched Netflix on it in bed. I am quite pleased with the quality of movies and TV shows through Netflix. Critics of the Mini's lack of Retina Display have alluded this use would be a problem but, honestly, I literally don't see the problem. As to my one "What's not so great" comment. I could not hold the Mini in the same manner as my iPad 3 because of the narrow bezel. As soon as I got a folio case for the Mini this was no longer an issue. As to those who comment about the price? If it is not in your budget then it is not in your budget. I can't yell at Lexus or BMW or any manufacturer of premium priced anything that they should lower their prices because they charge too much. The original iPad I gave to a loved one when I got my iPad 3 still gets daily use for a few hours a day without a problem. The Nexus 7 has a good reputation, so far, but I wonder if it will hold up. My history with plastic computers, including an Apple PowerBook, does not lead me to be optimistic. Best wishes
