This would be a 4-5 star item if not for one fatal flaw. I have owned the white version for a day and a half and it is already turning yellow on the edges. It looks as if I left it laying outside in the sunlight for 6 months. For a $100 product to discolor and look so putrid in a matter of hours is beyond absurd. I will be returning and trying the black. The products functionality is fantastic. The feel in the hand is great, the battery seems to last a long time, and the lightning connector is a major plus.

Ultimately, this charger case destroys your phone battery faster than less-expensive ones, and it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s not good for lithium batteries to be at 100% charge for very long. The longer and higher it sits above 80% capacity, the faster it decays. Apple started to address that problem with its phones by trying to have it defer the last 20% percent of charging until just before you’re going to unplug it, but there is no granular control over this. To manufacture a legitimately smart case (did you know Apple can query diagnostics in the case just like one of its phones or computers?) that keeps the phone battery at 100% until it runs out of power instead of letting the phone go to 80% first followed by itself is asinine. I spotted this problem quickly and the friend who recommended the case has had two swollen battery replacements on his phone. All of this could be addressed with a software fix. Cheaper devices stop when the phone hits 100%. Not ideal, but better than Apple.

I have an 8 iPhone! The salesman said this battery charging case is for a 7 iPhone, but it will work for an 8 iPhone. The is NOT TRUE!!! People couldn’t hear me very well, and I couldn’t hear them very well. I thought my iPhone needed replaced. I went to the store of my service provider, and they told me that the charging case was covering up the sound of the voices. Now I am stuck with a charging for a 7iphone and no charging for an 8 iPhone.

Received the wrong size case, exchanged it for the right one. Not bad but over priced like everything else apple

For the money I expected greatly improved battery life. Pretty pricey for still not making it through the day some days without battery going dead

It doesn’t have an on or off button to control the charger. It consistently charges your phone even on a full battery.

This case works well. The issue that the silicone skin will rub off over time and begin to peel. Hold onto the receipt. I did get it replaced by apple.

No way to determine level of charge without removal from iPhone No on off switch to hold power in reserve until needed Battery/ batteries seem to lose charge more quickly even with this aux battery BB shipped promptly and product was received in just a couple of days, with more than enough shipping status information.

NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN IT OFF OR ON IS A DOWNFALL. AND UNABLE TO CHECK BATTERY STATUS ON IOS 11 UNLESS YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT FROM CHARGER

When my phone is on 100% I have the case on and the case is still charging my phone. I thought it was a smart case! What happened ?

its an okay case. maybe doesnt hold the best charge, but gets the job done

The case is good but the only thing I dislike about it is that I cant turn off the case when my phone is fully charged.

I purchased I phone battery case which I had no problems with until after two years it started to split. It split where it bends to enable you to remove phone. Eventually split enough it was irritating to use. I purchased a new one in August It worked for 2 months. It shows case is 100%. But does not charge phone. And light on case doesn’t come on to show its charging.

Not bad, but not good. They do their job well enough while they last but often go bad way before the phones do.

The charger is great but not a very tough case. The rubber will peel off and come apart pretty easily.

Convenient but loses charge quickly. Works best by charging the case separately from phone. This can be annoying

One of the few cases to have a lightning through connector, but the white color gets dirty really easy.

The battery does not last as long as mophie case. It is nice to use apple cord for charging
