Let me start this off in stating that this was the first IPhone I bought since the IPhone 7. The chip and the price are the raesons I bought it - otherwise I favor SamDroid normally. For a small phone, this packs a wallop !! Really like the speed of it. Look forward to seeing it work on a different network here in a couple weeks as I change jobs. I would highly recommend this phone.

I have had an iPhone 7 since the Note 7 was recalled. In the last year or two the phone has gone through hell. Its gotten a cracked screen, burns on the display, and really bad port to charge the device. I held back from upgrading the latest iPhones because I didn't think I needed the upgrade besides the storage space. I only had 32GB on mine. After seeing some friends and family with their iPhone X or 11 Pros, I noticed how I didn't like the home button not being there. Everything was more gestures and stuff. This phone gets announced and I figured it'd be a nice gift for my mom since she has the iPhone 8, but after a while it sounded like a good phone for me! I'm not taking the greatest photos, have that many apps or anything. As much as I'd prefer to have the size of the 8 Plus or whatever its basically what I have now but upgraded internally. I like the fast charge and wireless charging feature, as well. I'm happy with my purchase.

Love my iPhone SE 2020! I don't need all the bells and whistles of all the new iPhones so something a little simpler with some new fun stuff was right up my alley and not too different from my old phone! The camera is much improved compared to my old iPhone! Happy that it still has a home button. Love siri. Just love it can't really go wrong although headphones are different now (no headphone jack) and I don't think there is a way to charge your phone and use headphones simultaneously.

I bought a red color SE for my daughter as a gift and she absolutely loves it. Although it doesn't have face ID feature, the touch ID is good enough for her and she is extremely happy with rest of the features which is quite similar to XS or XR. The processor is the same to that of a new model which is noteworthy. Happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it for those looking to buy iphone in <$500 range.

    Good phone, Terrible Battery Life

I moved from an iPhone 11 Pro to this because I miss the small iPhones of the past. I had read that the battery life was significantly less on the iPhone 12 mini, but also read reports that disabling 5G improve that a fair bit. This was not my experience. Even with 5G disabled the battery life is unacceptable. I am not a heavy smart phone user. My iPhone 11 Pro was rarely below 50% battery when going to bed. This 12 mini struggles to make it through the day without being charged. So in my experience the battery life is at least 40% less than an iPhone 11 Pro. For me the rest of the review doesn’t matter. The battery life ruins it completely. The size, build quality, and camera are excellent; if they can make a 13 mini with real battery life I’ll buy it in a heartbeat.

Good Value for an Apple Phone

I replaced my old iPhone SE with this one. I'm happy with the upgrade — faster processor, better camera, larger screen. All at a reasonable price for an Apple product. I didn't want a huge iPhone like the SE's big brothers. I don't mind that this new SE is slightly larger than the old one; it fits my pockets just fine without being too unwieldy. I do miss the headphone jack, though.

I bought this to replace an iPhone 5s that had only 16 Gb of storage. It is great having 128 GB. I will never have to worry about running out of storage. I just transferred the sim from my old phone and after a few steps of set up it was up and running. I had to get used to some different features but that was expected. The battery life is amazing. It takes really great pictures. (Even better than my Nikon camera.) I am very happy with this phone and I would recommend it.

I broke my iPhone 6s and needed a new phone. Didn't want to pay over a grand for the tablet we call the 11 pro, but I did want the new tech that comes with it. The same chip, smaller size, and 1/3 the price is a ridiculous deal. If you look up the 2020 SE, most articles are calling this the best deal apple has ever had. Better yet, since it's the same size as the iPhone 6-8, if you have an older case or screen protectors laying around, you can throw it on this thing as well.

Prefer this version than the other model. There's not a lot of difference from iPhone 8 so this is a good step up for me. I can't get used to not having the home button, so this works well for me. The photo quality is very good, almost as good as the newer versions. It is smaller but there are options to change the font size if needed. The phone case from iPhone 8 fit this one so it was no waste since my case was still intact.

If you have held off buying a new phone like I have, you should purchase this phone as a welcome upgrade! Performance is incredible, camera is great, and body feels familiar since I upgraded from an iPhone 6S. The only catch is battery life. It’s not the greatest, but it’s still decent.

Decided to upgrade all my apple products during Covid. Got the SE2020, new iPad and watch 5 series. Great fast phone with everything you need. The price is a game changer. Not a big fan of Face ID so when they announced this phone was bringing back the Touch ID it was a just for me

I always like iPhone SE because of the size and price. That’s why when SE (2nd generation) came out, I decided to upgrade. Upgrading to SE 2nd generation is like hitting 2 birds in 1 stone, form and substance. You have a phone that has the specs of an iPhone 11, and a price of a top of the line android phone. Greatest iPhone in terms of price in relation to specs.

Small enough to fit well in my pocket and fast. Just received another iOS update and since they are usually good for at least 5 years I have a phone that will get security updates for 8 years at this point. A lot cheaper cost per year than an Android phone and it's a lot better phone.

The least expensive iPhone in Apple's current lineup doesn't disappoint! Speed, TouchID and the ability to update to the latest iOS ensures the phone will be usable for years to come. The only downside is the battery. Buy an external battery bank if you will not have the option to charge for an extended period of time.

Finally broke down and replaced my four year old iPhone SE and I’m glad I did. I loved my old SE and wasn’t planning on replacing it until I absolutely had to. Now that I’m working from home, I needed to upgrade to do my work. Hopefully I can write it off on my taxes! I was also able to use Best Buy rewards to help defray the cost a bit. I loved my old SE because of it’s petite size, which easily slipped into my pocket when not carrying a purse. It also lasted me longer than any other brand of phone I’ve had previously. The new SE is a little bigger but much sleeker and the screen images appear to be much sharper. Reception is good too! I’m very happy with my new SE!

These are an awesome little powerhouse! If you still love your home button, this is it as to new new new iPhones. I wish there was a comparable new model in a plus size though.... Overall these are great phones with plenty of power under the hood to last a long long time especially if you opt for the 128gb version....

I switched from my 11 Pro to this and I'm not disappointed. I love the compact size of the phone and the A13 chip it has. I sacrificed battery life and camera quality but those features on this SE are still good enough for me. The other models are just too big to carry around in my pocket, to exercise with, and for one-handed operation, so this is perfect. I hope Apple continues producing SE models.
