The appearance design of iPhone SE3 is simple and exquisite, mainly in black, showing the consistent sense of technology and fashion of iPhone. I considered upgrading to an unlocked 1 Gig iPhone 14 Pro Max but still there were too many trade offs. I hate both the notch and Face ID so a 14+ was out. So looking at the 14 Pro Max with no Fingerprint ID and a glorified cut out made glaringly present in the form of the Dynamic Island with a $2K price tag and I just couldn’t justify it. So I looked at the SE 3 (2022) with the same processor as the 14 & 14+. Though I was reluctant as I have been using my iPhone 7+ since 2016 and enjoy the larger size I thought that maybe I’ll just get this for a cycle or two until Apple gets out of its own way. But I actually like it. The camera is certainly a trade off and only having 256G is limiting but it is very fast and beyond those limitations I have no real functionality complaints. I like the SE 3 and at 1/4 the price of an iPhone 14 Pro Max I’ll live with the feature limitations until Apple gets rid of any form of a screen carve out.

It is a small phone thag is a great size in the pcket and hand. A small phone comes with consequences of having a small battery. The battery life is disappointing, but the performance almost makes up for it. It is great performance. The Bebezzels are way too big though

I only needed a replacement phone for 2 weeks while mine gets shipped to apple for repair. I THOUGHT this was a smart choice. I was wrong. This phone is made for that grandma you want to get a iPhone for. This phone is a time-warp back to your first iPhone. Im debating returning this phone and being phoneless for two weeks just to never put this phone in my hand again. shame on you apple for making this.
