Customers consistently note the iPhone X 64GB's excellent camera quality, expansive screen size, and smooth performance as significant strengths. Many appreciate the ease of use and the innovative Face ID feature, while some find the lack of a home button and the high price less appealing. The phone's design and battery life also receive positive feedback. However, the absence of a headphone jack is a recurring point of criticism for some users.

A Thanksgiving Miracle

I stopped by Best Buy on my way home from Thanksgiving with friends just to stretch my legs and see what bargains were in store. The first employee that I came across asked me if I need help finding anything and I asked if they had the iPhone X in stock, and to my delight she said yes! I had been asking at every store I visited since they first came out and this was the first time I got a positive response.
The store was great at getting me set up quickly and they helped me find a great case and accessories too. I was a great experience for a late night stop.
The phone is great too! I am upgrading from a 5S, so the speed and battery life are light years better. It didn't take long to get used to not using a start button and I love the face recognition... I was always getting fails with my finger print reader, so it is so nice to just pick up the phone an have it unlock immediately. The camera takes fantastic pictures, too. It is a real pleasure to use my new phone because it works very much like my old iphone, but faster and better in all ways!
It was the first time I've purchased a phone from Best Buy and it was a sweet experience.

The screen is amazing the color and picture is crisp. It is beautifully designed, I could just look at it for hours. The camera is pretty good I really like the portrait mode and zoom features. The Face ID ended up being one of my favorite features, it makes it so easy to unlock cause I always have gloves on at work

So much screen real estate and a beautiful image to boot. Camera quality is breathtaking and the phone is responsive. Face ID works like a dream most of the time. Overall just about everything I’ve wanted from my iPhone for some time

So ive owned all iphones pretty much, last I had was iphone 7 plus. I really dont like that notch but its not that bad, its actually kinda different from other phones. If you can get over that, this phone is amazing.
Its smaller than the plus size phones overall and fits better in hand. Screen is bigger but slimmer on sides just a bit. Its a faster phone and the internet works better and quicker. The oled display is amazing, its noticable. Phone lasts a tad bit more than my old iphone 7 plus like maybe an extra 10%. All in all i made the jump and im happy with it. Except bestbuy screwed up and couldnt make my installments 30 months, they did 24 month there mobile dept kinda lacks knowledge. Other than that its a nice phone. GET A CASE ASAP. Glass breaks easily.

Been waiting for so long with an iPhone with OLED screen. This phone takes a little getting used to when it comes to no physical home button or fingerprint scanner. But I noticed Face ID literally works 95% of the time every time I try it. The speakers are louder on this phone and also somehow my Bluetooth headphones seem to get louder also. The battery life is even better than the 7 plus I had. It also feels way better in your hand I recall dropping my 7 plus on my face countless times or not being able to reach every corner of the screen without using reach assist. Overall this is a really good phone

This is my 3rd Iphone. I switched carriers from Sprint to ATT. So I decided to upgrade. Once past the learning curve this phone is relatively easy to use. Phone holds a charge throughout day, fast charges on the Samsung fast change, and color display is sharp. I probably could have been just as happy with the iphone 8, but the facial recognition is a revolutionary feature. This phone is smaller and very sleek, I really don’t miss the larger sized S plus or the weight or the battery life usage. Swiping is very easy and I don’t miss the finger button with facial recognition. I do recommend supplemental case and screen protection. Check out tutorials on Youtube and Apple. For all things said and done, I think, “it’s worth it .”

Nice phone, very expensive

So I said I would never pay a thousand dollars for a phone......Well, never say never. I read all there was to read about the iphone X and I knew going in it was very expensive. I had a 6 Plus and it was painfully slow (everyone now knows why) and I was just tired of messing with it. I was in Best Buy (where I get all my phones) and I decided to make the leap. Here are my initial thoughts.
Picture is supurb. The phone feels a lot smaller than my 6 Plus even though I know the screen is about the same size, it just feels smaller. Which, I guess is a good thing but I liked the size of my 6 Plus. But I put this phone in a bigger case to make up for that feel I missed with the plus size phone. I know, I'm an "older" user so having the convenience of slipping this phone in my pocket is not something I need like most on-the-go younger folks do, I just want to be able to see things on the screen and not feel like I don't have a handle on the phone. So I guess for me, size does matter.
The face recognition has worked basically flawlessly for me so far. Its a pretty cool concept that probably needs some tweeking because I do find myself having to do more to get into the phone than I did before. You have to raise the phone to your face so it can identify you then you have to swipe up from the bottom of the phone to get into it. I think if they had a setting that would allow you to open the phone by face ID and not have to swipe to get in, I'd like that a lot better. Having said that, I've never been one of those people that uses a security code to get into my phone and I always worried about losing my phone and someone being able to get right into it. I just hated having to punch in a code each time I wanted to use it. I gave the phone to my wife for her to look at and delighted in the fact that she was totally frustrated that she could not get into it. She kept pointing the phone at me to unlock it and I would look away and it would not unlock. I have to admit, I do like that security feature and not having to punch in a code to get into it is pretty cool to me.
I know several others have complained about the fact that now you have to swipe down from the top to get the control center and you have to do a swiping gesture to open up the multiple window function. I guess for me, its no big deal to have to swipe now rather than hit a button. If you grew up using virtually every variation of iphones going back to 2007, you are used to the button. But this one does not have a button and everyone that buys it should know that so why on earth would not having a button be an issue? I don't know, its just different and a lot of people don't like change. Me, I have no problem. I have heard that Apple might be bringing a virtual button back in the next update but all the functionality of the phone works fine for me. Its blazing fast, and that is what I am most happy about.
The camera, both video and pictures, works very well. I am a bit of a semi-professional photographer and I will never stop using my DSLR cameras but this phone takes pretty amazing pictures, I have to admit. In fact, I also do some video editing on my Mac and the video images rivaled my 4k Canon 6D. I was really impressed with the video. One more aspect that is greatly improved is the audio of this phone. And I don't necessarily mean quality audio, even though I do think its better, I mean the volume. I use my phone when I get ready in the morning to listen to the watch ESPN app and at times on my 6 plus, the audio was not loud enough to hear when I was running water or something like that. On this phone, I have zero issues hearing it. I'm very impressed with that aspect alone. Its amazing how much sound comes out of this phone.
In conclusion, for me, someone who lives in a Mac ecosphere, (Mac computer, iPad's, Apple watch, multiple iPhones and Mac book pro), this device is very familiar. If you've used iPhones for a while in the past, you will have no trouble adapting to the changes that to me, are intuitive because there is no home button. I had no trouble figuring out I needed to swipe instead of pushing a button. Some will find that frustrating, I did not.
Beautiful phone, beautiful picture. But, were the changes that created this phone worth the price tag? Not really but I don't ever remember buying any Apple product and thought, wow I got a good deal on this! I buy Apple products because I know once I own it, It will last, it will work, and it will be the best product out there.

This iPhone is the iPhone I’ve always wanted. The 12MP Camera is gorgeous. The OLED screen is the best on the market. Wireless charging allows me to store my lightning cables away (finally). The A11 Bionic chip is the fastest smartphone chip on the planet. It’s fast, and snappy. The gestures make navigating the phone a breeze. This is the phone I’ve waited 10 years for.

Like my title says, the iPhone X is the ultimate HARDWARE iPhone! It's the up to par on the camera and this phone is quick and very smooth with the best picture taking. Down fall not alot of Developers Have taken advantage of the iPhone X gorgeous full corner to corner screen. Some of the developers are in the process of getting apps to fit the whole screen of the iPhone X. Waiting game is a must good thing is when the iPhone X Plus comes out you can trade this phone and get the plus if you like bigger phones

The screen is big and beautiful and the camera takes great photos and videos. The lack of a home button is akward, and having to swipe up from the bottom can be a nuisance (very easy to hang up on someone if you try to unlock your phone while in the middle of a call, for instance). Also, the FaceID feature is unreliable, working about half the time when trying to unlock my phone or download an app. Overall I think the 8 Plus would be a better choice, especially for the price difference.

This is easily the best iPhone design since the iPhone 3 to 4. The screen is just beautiful, there's not much else to say about it without actually using it and looking at it. The phone itself feels incredibly fast, switching apps is so smooth and fast, you'll love it. Honestly, the "notch" fades away and just seems normal, even after using other phones without the notch there doesn't seem to be much different. If you're an iPhone user and thinking about making the upgrade then this is a no-brainer.

Have always had a Galaxy phone and finally moved to apple. The Face ID is so easy compared to have a code to type in. No home button was easy to get use to. It seem fast to use this phone then any other.

Moved to it from iPhone 6 plus, and it's a big improvement: iTunes sync is much faster, face ID works great, OLED screen is readable in full sun. However, the competition is offering those features at a lower price, so the main reason for me was that I'm stuck in the Apple garden...

I preordered my phone at 2:01 am central and picked it up in store on Nov 3rd. Got it home and basically couldn’t put it down lol. I absolutely love it. I love the Face ID better than Touch ID. You basically just have to pick up your phone and just swipe up. Fast and easy. Love the camera too. Takes way better pictures than my iPhone 6s Plus. I’m totally happy I purchased this and I definitely recommend getting it. It’s a beautiful phone.

This iPhone is wonderful! I love the Face ID and the larger screen. I previously had an iPhone 6 Plus, so the change in the device size is a welcome one. The camera is AH-Mazing! The OLED screen is also a nice feature. Videos show very well. It’s easy to adjust to not having a home button. I don’t miss it at all! I would definitely recommend the purchase!

Love this phone. Had an iPhone 6 then tried iPhone 8 Plus which was significantly larger (too large for me). X is just the right size. Screen clarity is fantastic as well as processing speed. Don’t really use animated emoji feature that much as not supported by non-iPhone users. No problem adjusting to lack of home button. X worth the extra $100.

This phone is a great improvement over my iPhone 6S, the face recognition is flawless, it works every time and best of all you don’t have to do anything to turn it on, JUST LOOK AT IT! The new screen makes the phone look larger and the camera is outstanding, from wide angle to telephoto and special effects, there is nothing better in the market.
