Needed this to connect old earbuds to new iPhone. It gets the job done - although, in my opinion, Apple should include this for free with the new phones. This is why i'm rating value as poor.

Now that the new iPhones no longer have a dedicated headphone jack, your old headphones and cords need this adapter. My iPhone came with one, but I wanted another for the car. It does what it is meant to do and stays tightly connected.

I bought a knock off on eBay and I can use it but sound is a bit off. I bought one at Best Buy apple brand and big difference on sound quality.

I used to hate the new iPhones because they don’t have a headphone jack on them and every time I would get into a friends car they would try and pass me the aux cord and I couldn’t use it but now I can!!

Recently purchased a newer model IPhone without a headphone jack option. This allows use of access to plug phone into car system’s audio port to play music etc. Wonderful.

Yes, the iPhone XR comes with an adapter for the new iPhone X's but in the event I don't have my cordless air pods, forget them or not need them, I have an adapter in my work back and my go bag just in case.

Just upgraded Iphone and heard that this item used to come with the phone. Since it doesn't anymore, I purchased it to work with a few AUX devices that I still have that now work fine with my new phone.

I've had to get creative about ways not to lose these things, but they come in handy to have multiples around either in my wallet or in my car or down at my treadmill. Work good and had fast shipping.

I bought this for my mother in law who has an iPhone X and didn't want to fuss with Bluetooth. I got her a Bose Sport headphones that required this dongle. They work wonderfully. I will be buying another one.

Use to hook up phone to an old bluetooth speaker after the bluetooth went out. Won't be able to do this with the newer speakers since they don't have a jack.

Vendors like updating device connectors so you find yourself with cables / connectors that no longer work. Sometimes, like in this case, a simple coupler will save the functionality of an older style cable/ connector.

Wish I didn’t need this but because Apple removed the headphone jack with the iPhone 7 I couldn’t hold off on getting this. Item works great but still wish this wasn’t necessary
