The lightning to 3.5mm is a great option as a back up to the lightning headphones , this is an essential item especially when traveling and you need to use 3.5. The audio quality is not lost. The wire is very very thin you must be careful , it is easy to tear and gets pulled out of the slot very easy.

With the I-Phone line getting more slim with every version - who can live without a dingle? This allows the use of headphones that require the hard connection to your phone.

It turns the lightning port into a headphone Jack, just like butter. It's part Apple's dongle misery, but it works just dandy for those of us who still use wired headphones.

This is a great product and deal... works anytime anywhere just plug it in. I use it in my car straight through the aux plug and bam listen to anything you like.

If you want to use any wired headphones that are not the new iPhone ear buds with lighting connector, this is one way to be able to use them. Not too expensive, and does the job fine. However... If you need to charge your phone, AND you want to listen to music on headphones, this adapter is not the solution.
