The Apple Lightning 3.5 mm Headphone adapter hooks in smooth and works well with my headphones.

This adapter is useful when you take plane trip and do not want to carry the new earphone for I Phone XR. You can use the earphone (for prior models of I phone) which fit the airplane audio plugs, and use the earphone and the adapter for the new iPhone XR, model.
