Of course one more accessory neeeed form Apple. I prefer to use my own headsets versus the Apple supplied headsets so this piece works well for my needs

Allows me to connect my phone to the stereo system we had in our gym so I could play music off of my phone. Works perfectly!

If you have an iPhone 7, this is defiantly something you'll want! I have several, one in my car and one in my bag just so I can always have access wherever I am.

This is an official Apple product, works great. This is not a cheap knock off version. As described does what its supposed to do.

My granddaughter just loves it! She is able to connect her headphones now since Apple dropped the headphone jack from the Iphone.

While some may complain about having to use an adapter and the exclusion of the mini jack port on current iPhone models, I only want to say that, as a necessary part of the iPhone experience, THIS is the adapter you want. I've tried third party, cheaper and more expensive, and none "just worked". Some controls were not available with the knockoffs or "this accessory is not made for this device" errors occurred before the adapter wouldn't work. As such, and since the prices aren't much different anyways, get the official Apple branded adapter. It works. I keep one of these on a pair of wired headphones I use at home, travel with the included Apple EarPods AND keep an adapter in my bag in case I need to use a set of phones on the go.

I left my wireless Bluetooth headphones at home by accident and I now have an IPHONE 8. I can't wear the buds that come with the phone and have always kept a wired pair handy if something happens to my headset. I needed the lightning plug adapter.I was at work and I have to have music playing or an audiobook to block out the chatter around me. I first checked amazon to see If I could have some delivered at work. It was not a same day item. Then I checked Best Buy. They were 10 minutes away and in stock. I had them and my sanity within the hour!!!

Just plug your older earphones into one end and the other end into your phone. You’re good to go. Listen to the music you like.

a good piece of electronic infrastructure to have in your collection- never know when your Bluetooth earphones will run out of juice

A bit expensive for something that is required. Lost my old one but needed Apples original to make sure my Apple earphone would work well with my iPhone 7 Plus.

Just what I needed to hook my iPhone to my mini Stereo system. Seems well made and should last until I buy a new stereo. No complaints.

I have found that the Apple-made cable lasts far longer than the knock-offs.
