If you need it...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is a shame that manufacturers are going away from headphone jacks, but it is the way they all seem to be going in an effort to get the slimmest device. If you are willing to go bluetooth exclusively, then this adapter is not necessary. However, if you have a great set of headphones that you still want to use (like the shure se530's) then you need this. It is a shame that you can charge your device or listen to the headphones, but not both with this little adapter. Ultimately I recommend it if you still need (or want) to connect your wired headphones.
