This cord works perfectly with my new iPhone 8 plus purchase. I still use wired Bose Headphones and the sound quality is still great.

Apple gave us no choice so this is what it is, me being a audiophile I hate, hate this, but it’s the only option for me to have when I want to travel light and with a good pair of headphones, I don’t care for Bluetooth headphones, so this is my option or to leave Apple. I actually purchased an iPod classic because it has the traditional 3.5 headphone jack. But having two devices on your person sucks in today’s world. Why I hate it so much, it not a solid connection, it can easily be disconnected by the slightest touch, sometimes you have to reconnect it because it get this funny sounding distortion effect, it breaks fairly easy. I purchased at least 8 already, so yeah it sucks

I have a set of Bose earphones that are wired . Did not want to lose that sound with iphone x. This item does the trick.

Cable seem strong enough to handle usage and it worked. Previous cables were flimsy and seemed to break shortly after I bought them.

Connects phone to earbuds. Works. Easy to lose. Buy the lightning earbuds and lose this permanently.
