At home more and more we all have iPhone without 3.5 input. The problem is that the headphones that the new iPhones bring only work with the iPhone because they are lightning. In practice one needs headphones for cell phones, computers, planes, etc. So I better bought several Apple headphones with 3.5 and apart I bought this accessory. With that, I made sure that everyone at home used the headphones for different devices.

I purchased this when I upgraded from an iPhone SE, which has a headphone jack, to an iPhone 8, which doesn’t. I found the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone adapter’s sound quality to be far superior to the sound of the headphone jack on the iPhone SE. So much so that I ordered a Fido i1, with the hopes it might sound as good as the iPhone SE when it arrives, I gave this three stars as it does work as it should and seems to reasonably sturdy. What a silly idea it was to remove the headphone jack. I would only recommend it if. Someone was a very causal listener.

Like all Apple products this is a good item. One of my grandchildren is always using this.

Nice, small device that does the job of connecting simple earplugs to an iPhone.
